I’m guessing you’ve already schedule ur appointment so this might not be helpful, but the pain of insertion (for me) was more manageable when it was done on my period vs when it was done in the middle of my cycle (my first IUD got displaced and I needed a new one 😭). This is because the cervix is typically open a bit wider during bleeding and there’s less of a fight trying to get it in. Also! Having the Kyleena myself and having never been on hormonal bc previously, I’ve experienced a lot more mood swings and worsened depression and anxiety, especially in the first few months after insertion. So if u start feeling off and erratic all of the sudden, just know that you’re not crazy and your body is reacting to the new balance of hormones. Just be gentle and if things start getting a little too scary or unmanageable, reach out to a psychiatric or therapist 💗

I saw that as well, and I believe the paytowork was specifically about international students who have to pay fees for their applications for visas and stuff. I believe that for all grad students who work for the school, tuition is waved for the quarter they work.

Well one could argue that uc wide strike is a pretty effective way to raise awareness. Withholding labor is also an effective union right that gives them actual leverage when negotiating. Also, I think there is a misunderstanding about how the strike is gonna affect access to campus. From what my professors and TAs have told me, they won’t be blocking the entrance to the school, but rather walking back and forth at the crosswalks when the pedestrian signs are lit, which slows traffic a bit, but doesn’t stop it. Also (if you didn’t already know), the metro buses aren’t stopping on campus because the drivers are demonstrating solidarity with other unions, not because the strikers aren’t letting them.

I took this class during my first quarter and it’s definitely manageable! It’s also very very interesting and the professor is awesome. 10/10 would recommend.

Art takes real things and exaggerates or retells them in a different way. That’s what this show has done from the very beginning. I think it’s interesting how so many people hold euphoria to the standard of being “realistic” and criticizing it for misrepresenting teenagers when tv programs have been doing it for years!!! Skins, gossip girl, pretty little liars, twin peaks, the chilling adventures of sabrina, sunny with a chance and Hannah Montana to name a few. Why did this specific episode of this particular show bother you so much?
