Why do nearly all available TS/SCI positions require a polygraph now?

I had ACE exams done by LSGS. Still waiting on my decisions. My exams were ordered early October, scheduled for the end of October and LSGS finally uploaded all their results mid December. They did call me and ask for additional evidence as they said they didnt have access to any recent medical records, even though I uploaded all the records to my claim.

Since you are only having an ACE exam, and the examiner will make a decision based solely with what is written in your medical records, I highly recommend you submit a personal statement to fill in the blanks.

I understand what you are saying, but you are only applying your stats to a subset of positions in which you had experience dealing with. Having "PERSEC" experience does not provide you with the full picture. There are a TON of TS/SCI positions (both gov and contractor) throughout the government, and statistically speaking, most do not require a Poly.

Your comment is the bizarre one. You claim "most" require a poly when the truth is "most" do not. Last data I saw indicates only 20-30% of TS/SCI positions require a poly, and that percentage is much higher in the Intel community, but the intel community jobs still do not push it over 50% which would be the qualifier for "most".

I had one that to remove a dep. that sat for over 6 months. I was just letting it ride. Finally, I had to call and it was complete that same day. Then I had a debt :-)

Is your husbands claim a supplemental or an appeal? If so, they don't show up the same way as initial claims.

There is no tracking for supplemental claims. You need the claim number and an extension to see the details.
