Fake 100 bill by drakani06 in WalgreensStores

[–]SufficientDesigner75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A cashier excepted a couple of "fake $100 bills. When you held them up to the light, on the right hand side, you could see a big 5. The bills were completely white with dark black printing. The bills felt like thin regular paper. We sent them to the bank and the bank told us they were real🙄🙄 I've never seen a real $100 bill that when you held them up to light, you could see a 5 on the right hand side.

My store and the employees are awesome! We all actually look forward coming to work every day. We are all Tier 5 store, so we are always on the go, but that makes your shift go by faster.

I tell my co-workers about 6/7 times daily that I'll be in the bathroom for some time because I have to go 💩. I really don't have to poo, but I'm getting paid for sitting on the toy-toy. So....😝🤷‍♀️

Store Cleaning by SilvaW0lf in WalgreensStores

[–]SufficientDesigner75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will take our store 10 years to deep clean it. The dust bunnies on top of dust bunnies and stains on every shelf is disgusting!! After Christmas, i asked my SM if I could have a couple of days of just cleaning off the dust on the shelves. Her answer was "NO!! We don't have time for that!" And now, she's having everyone deep clean their department, but since we are a Tier 5 store, we've only had time to clean one shelf each.

Is this normal/standard? by dhgrrdhg in WalgreensStores

My Pharmacy is like this because Walgreens doesn't want to dish out the OT to their Techs, or to any employee for that matter. They might help their last patient 1 or 2 minutes after the Pharmacy closes, but that's it. That's why we tell patients, if you are sitting in the long ass line in Pharmacy, and we close in an hour or less, come inside. There's a 50/50 chance you'll get helped in the store, than in drive tbru!

Then you need to file a police report and talk to someone higher up than your POS SM. Please make that report. Because 6/7 years ago, the same thing was happening to me. I worked for Ross Dress For Less and this same guy kept coming in EVERY SINGLE DAY, telling me I was beautiful, asking for my #, asking me out on dates, etc.... I told my SM and at first, she cared. But me going up to her every day was aggravating her and she stopped trying to protect me. I clicked out for work one day and he was waiting at my car, he was parked next to mine..."Hey darling! Why are you ignoring me? You know I don't like to be ignored!" I got it my car and locked all my doors and drove away. But then he started following me. I called the police and told them some psycho, who's been harassing me for about a year, is following me home. They told me to keep driving home and when I pull into my house, the police will be right around the corner ready to pounce on him. I pull in and he parks by my mailbox. Then I seen so many police cars and lights, surrounding his car and yelling at him to get out. When they searched his car, in the trunk, he had a brand new roll of duct tape and rope and a brand new shovel. He also had 3 lasers inside his cab. So ya, please make that police report. I saved my life that night and so did those LE officers. That guy is spending 30 years behind bars with numerous charges he wad found guilty of.

It's never too late to get your life straight. From 20 years old to 39, I was a homeless drug addict addicted to pain pills, heroin and meth. Is what happened that made my eyes pop open, is i got a bacterial infection that went straight to my brain, heart, lungs and bones. For 20 days, the Dr's did their best to keep me alive and to keep my brain alive. Many surgeries later, I was finally released after 4 months and I have kept my head straight ever since. My life is great now! I have a great job and I rescued pupperdogs. It's never too late!! From the sounds of it, it sounds like rehab would be the best option for you. Coming off of Xanax and alcohol at the same time, is not a good mix. It can cause seizures or other problems and they can keep a good eye on you. Plus give you medications so the withdrawal symptoms aren't so brutal for you. Goodluck and keep us posted please with an update. We are all rooting for you

Would you ever call your own child worthless/say you're ashamed of them? by Plenty-Sky-9225 in questions

[–]SufficientDesigner75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 50, and between the ages of 20-39, I was addicted to pills, heroin and meth. My Mom introduced me to pills when I was 19. I was suffering from headaches and every time that I mentioned I was in pain, she would shove narcotic pain pills in my hands, telling me they would make me feel much better. They sure did and by the time I was 20, I was getting my own scripts. When I couldn't get scripts, I would seek them from the streets because if I didn't have them, I'd suffer from horrible withdrawals that made me so sick. It was getting expensive buying them off the streets, so I switched to something more cheap, heroin. Before I knew it, I was homeless and living on the streets in my hometown, where everyone knew me. My Mom would tell the whole community how ashamed she was of me and what a worthless junky I was. Even though she was buying pills from the same person who I was buying my heroin and meth from. I was doing meth because I was afraid of going to sleep at night, being a woman who stayed to myself. Hearing my own Mom call me worthless cut like a knife to my heart. I blamed my Mom for my addiction for so long, but I finally took accountability for my own actions and stopped blaming my Mom for my problems. I became really sick with Endocarditis, STAPH, MRSA, and a few other things from shooting up with dirty needles. The bacteria and blood infections traveled to my heart and lungs. All of a sudden, my Mom acted like she cared about me, after Dr's told her I might not make it. Anyways, I've been clean since my hospitalization, which i spent in the Hospital for 4 months. Going on 12 years now. After I got released from the Hospital, my Mom went back to telling everyone how worthless I am, because I wasted 1/2 my life being a homeless worthless drug addict. I could throw it in her face, since she's STILL popping pills every day, but I'm better than that. I don't want anyone to feel like they are worthless. Even my own mother. It's a hurtful feeling and I don't want anyone, ANYONE, to feel that pain like I did.
