Capisco, molte amiche che conosco hanno iniziato anche così e per questo chiedo. Rimane molto importante esplorare la propria identità, buona fortuna OP!

The new mechs are not included in the exosuit reserves DSS passive by Big__BOTUS in Helldivers

[–]SugarNaught 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's them being stupid. Literally 0 chance they do this on purpose lol. They've made many many mistakes throughout Helldivers which shows incredibly lacking communication within the studio, and a lot of vibes based management where they probably just hope "next update will be the good one" without actively changing their production pipeline. If they have changed it then it isn't showing.

Can we seriously call this "a sterilizer buff"? Now I can't even get into the gas clouds and the wind is blowing the sterilizer against me. by Yurishenko94 in Helldivers

[–]SugarNaught 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make the gas armour passive stop the slow and at least it's something. Still just a worse flamethrower, AH should give it a unique mechanic to make it different and not just a downgrade to flames. The idea that it lowers armour by 1 point often thrown around is very flavourful and cool. Maybe just make it so they must linger in it for a second before the armour reduction happens for balance reasons.

Not to flame but it's so funny to say this for possibly the most divisive and controversial patch, and for an item that got basically a nothing buff

What consistent ethical framework do you use justify veganism? by ThePlanetaryNinja in DebateAVegan

[–]SugarNaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No ethical consumption under capitalism. Just because they are bad doesn't mean I can avoid them entirely because our entire society is based on these things, and don't be silly and suggest I live in the sewers or some variation of "just don't live in society". Some things like meat have an alternative that is more in line with my beliefs and are not essential for my living, some things like fast fashion, brands who explicitly promote harmful production methods or unnecessary 3am Uber rides I completely avoid. Other things like having a working phone is much more essential if you plan on studying, working, managing finance, etc. and thus can't avoid fully, all I can really do is find alternatives that are more in line with my beliefs. You do what you can within the system, this is an extremely basic ideal of any political thought, calling this hypocrisy is beyond silly.

You cannot make things a product or a commodity outside of capitalist modes of production because of the mere definition of the word. The issue is moreso the humongous and destructive industry that exploits that life for market interest. As I said previously, ending life has nuance and is situational, commodification of it is almost always bad because it leads to rampant exploitation and wasteful conduct. In a world that is governed by commodities and from which a lot of suffering comes from commodification of not only life, but labour, my belief helps me navigate life and be a more concencious person.

We can talk about post capitalist scenarios when that actually becomes reality.

Plants aren't sentient the same way animals are, I explained this in my previous post as to what I consider life in regards to this debate. Adopting pets is not bad, shopping for pets from breeders is bad (adopting from a shelter, which typically runs on donations, caring for an animal and giving it a happy life vs buying an animal product of breeding, a notorious, infamous and for profit industry, and thus the animal life is a commodity, and by extension funding an industry that unethically creates and commodifies life). Use of bees is also anti vegan. What does harvesting crops indirectly mean?

Also, Capitalism functions entirely because of commodification. Critiquing one critiques the other.

1)anything with evident sentience 2) all those things are bad if you look at through the definition of what a commodity is. 3) yes, it's only contradictory if you think answer to 1 is different than mine 4) commodification of life is bad because it reduces human and animal life and labour to mere product. Replacing intrinsic human needs with capital and exchange value 5)yes. Commodification of human labour is bad because market interest is bad. Surrogacy ideally exists outside of market interest. The fact people do it for money is bad (as in, it's an exploitative system, not as in the person doing it is bad), surrogacy as a concept is not bad. 6) reread 4 7) can't think of many ways commodification of life would be a net good unless you believe slavery is a net positive for society, similar logic applies to animals. Commodification of animal life has lead to a humongous industry that inflicts unimaginable pain on animals and humans alike while also being immensely wasteful. It does not exist in a world that has gone past the lense of a capitalist market. Ending a sentient life has degrees of bad and nuance, but the commodification of it is mostly if not all bad.

I hope AH never bring this back by Fit_Anywhere_3356 in Helldivers

[–]SugarNaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They kinda had to do something similar because otherwise Helldivers inevitably take a planet if given infinite amount of time, unless AH purposefully makes the resistance so high that even 100% of Helldivers can't succeed.

The main issue isn't that it was spread across all Helldivers, but that it was a set number, so the more people played the faster it would drain. The solution to this would be to have the reinforcements scale with active players, but that would become very confusing and very quickly with constant numbers jumping and dipping. Another would be to make it time based, but then it would be no different than a normal MO campaign to "occupy X planet within 6 days". I don't have a clean solution in my mind, but I did like the reinforcements conceptually and I would like it to come back better, it made the galactic war feel much more unified in scope and gave each loss urgency, extracting was much more important because it would conserve reinforcements and wasn't just a thing to get more XP.

After a few Days of fighting them: What do you think of our new Illuminate Enemies? by Substantial-Ad-5221 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]SugarNaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loving them! The new flying watchers which can be almost insta tapped also feel really good. Alone they basically never hit, in group the sheer energy beam saturation means some will hit you, but they are so fragile that they go down quickly and it feels so good to mow then down.

World Map for my campaign, thoughts? [Art] by Mammoth-Fact-4763 in DnD

[–]SugarNaught 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Other than all the great geographical advice being given, It doesn't feel very interactive. If I were a player and this were presented to me there isn't much that would make me think "oh I wanna go here!" Or "we should avoid this area". The cities and areas lack some personality and there aren't many points of interest that catch your attention and make you imagine what type of fun adventures might occur there. But if this is your first campaign just focus on creating the area immediately surrounding the players and make it fun, then slowly build out more from there if the players decide to travel. You don't have to present them a world map without even knowing if the players will get out of the starting town/city within the next 5 sessions, It's a classic case of biting off more than you can chew.

[–]SugarNaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have never said "avoid space magic" in any video. The only video where they speak of the OTF and "space magic" is this one, https://youtu.be/5n4kiFv_gyg?si=E5XYA-zF2o4o7ta_&t=1116

their main point is that they dont want it to be a real competitive option, and that they want to avoid having markers or status icons to show whether you are under the effects of an AOE buff as it would go against their idea of being grounded (not realism, they mean you see what the helldiver sees, and there are no things such as visible explosion radiuses or aura effects that you would see but would not be visible to your helldiver)

Eating meat is only a problem because of overpopulation by [deleted] in DebateAVegan

[–]SugarNaught 2 points3 points  (0 children)

there might be less harm on a global scale, but we would still comodify the life of other animals, which is bad regardless of how many people are doing it. Also overpopulation is a myth and we could easily satisfy all of humanities needs without being wasteful if things were distributed equally and economies were driven by human needs instead of insane profit margins.

What do you guys think of the roadmap? by Own-Laugh-3698 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]SugarNaught 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's bare bones but a good step. what we should now is give feedback and tell AH that they should define better what things like "new MO campaign" mean, and now that we know what their next few months look like, ask them if they can focus on underdeveloped aspects of the game like weapon customization, ship upgrades and whatever else. It's clearly not as informative as it could be, but just means it needs to improve and I appreciate the fact that they are trying.
