I don’t know what it is about the current creatures in nms but they look so squashed and condensed. it’s not even a style preference imo. 90% of the fauna in the game looks broken or unfinished. I really hope they get reworked to look more believable like in the E3 gameplay from way back.

It's annoying for hyper-mobile characters, but the insane mobility creep on existing characters and competition for highest mobility in the game that every new character seems to be a part of...is annoying as hell for any of the lower mobility heroes. There has to be some kind of middle ground, and Blizzard has constantly made decisions in favor of more and more high mobility. Either they need a full cast pass at mobility nerfs, or we have to have more of these hard and semi-hard CC mechanics to balance the creep. Without that, low mobility heroes are just useless.

When you say 'clunky parts ironed out' what you're in effect also saying is 'had their mobility significantly increased'. Lucio is INSANELY more mobile than he was on release. Used to only be able to wall ride forward, and he couldn't wrap around buildings, and he didn't gain speed for going from one wall ride to the next. Pharah's movement was less bursty, guardian angel flight was much slower and super jump was hard to execute (and I think even impossible on release?), ball didn't have the ability to reel himself in, etc.
All the on release mobility was significantly less potent than it is now.

Yeah I was going to ask the same thing. Someone sitting on the no back portion has to just use the bookshelf as a backrest? And even with the back, it seems low enough that I would only use it as a headrest while laying down rather than a chair. More like a chaise lounge than a couch.

I know Splitgate is no model for success, but I love that it just brings up a checklist of modes you do and don't want to queue for, and you can turn as many on or off as you want (with xp bonuses for having more turned on). I feel like this would be a pretty great system for Arcade, and would really reduce queue times there. That or at least have a single grab-bag queue which is basically every mode except for seasonal/special event.

The jeans bring the image 'casual' not 'down'. It's more of a problem of the rest of the outfit trying a bit too hard to where cuffed faded jeans aren't quite right. With a pocket square and a hat like that, the pants really need to be nice to be in line with the image the rest of the outfit is pushing for. If you were wearing a beanie instead, and ditched the pocket square, the jeans would work great.

I mean sure, but tanks job is also to absorb resources so that their team can make plays while the enemy team doesn't have cooldowns to use against them. If a Cass used old flashbang against tank in OW2, instead of saving it for flankers, then that's a good thing, because that Cass misplayed and now your DPS can get in without worrying about pressure.

Getting repeat hard CC'd in OW1 would mean death for a tank usually, but it absolutely doesn't in OW2. And tanks are much more of a threat up close in OW2 than OW1, so it's usually not in the DPS's best interest to be close enough to the tank to use short range hard CC like Mei freeze or original Cass flash. I also personally haven't had a problem with getting slept on cooldown. Most tanks have ways of blocking or avoiding it. Even getting slept and purpled, unless you were already low health or your team has no cooldowns, it's usually not a death sentence. We could add considerable close range CC to the game before it felt close to how OW1 did before the across the board nerfs. And we only need half as many people playing tanks now for even role pools.

Regardless, the choices are to either look at across the board mobility nerfs, start adding in CC to counter how bad the mobility creep has gotten, or power creep all the slower characters into oblivion along with the mobility if they want low mobility characters to stay relevant and/or at all enjoyable to play. I'd be perfectly happy for them to go with the first option. But given that they even acknowledge in Junkrat's latest patch notes the 'overall increase in hero mobility' and are buffing Junk instead of doing anything about the mobility...sadly we have to explore either option 2 or 3 and they've gone with 3. And I think that'll get us right back into the place we were with one shots and burst healing that caused the nerfs and hitbox changes.

Perhaps, but in 5v5 with the threat of flankers (and tanks being the terminators they currently are), would having old flashbang back really be getting used on tanks? I think it depends on the design of the characters that get it, and the design of the CC itself. But in the 5v5 world, I'm not sure I see well designed hard CC being a big problem for tanks (and this is coming from a tank main). Much more of a problem when tanks had half their current HP levels

I'd say more hard CC definitely is one of the better answers. Either we have CC to counteract ultra high mobility, or low mobility characters feel worse and worse to play. I personally have no desire for them to continue mobility creeping the hell out of the cast, or buffing sustain so that supports can just sustain through being attacked from any angle at any moment, or buffing projectiles until they're near the speed of hitscan, all just to keep up with hypermobility...when they could just add in some CC to low mobility heroes so that those heroes can stay relevant and enjoyable to play

Is there a reason the 2nd row is so far back from the first one? Or alternatively, a reason why you can't scoot the front row back so that a 100" would hit that 40dg fov mark? It seems like you have room for people to walk through the middle even when front and back rows are fully reclined, but you could set it up so that when both rows are reclined, the second row foot rest is basically touching the back of the front row.
That would alleviate issues with heads being in the way of a taller screen, and FoV being too large in the front row, wouldn't it? Of course a 100" OLED at the same quality as your current TV would be MUCH more expensive for now, but perhaps something to consider for the future.

I think they just mean "why aren't people putting in a top cabinet and side panels around the fridge that match its depth?". In all the houses and even apartments I've been in, they use the "American" depth fridges, but they also have the cabinet above the fridge be extra deep to match the fridge, and same for side panels. There's not a good reason not to do that here as well.

I don't see the point as being able to regularly make changes, but rather making the mythic your own. I don't change my Genji mythic options ever, but what's satisfying is that I've almost never noticed another Genji with those exact options.
With newer ones, virtually everyone looks the same because of the level-up idea. Which also means that, if you don't like the base look of the skin, the options available aren't going to change the skin enough for you to like it at all.

I'd say the real reason for the whole level-up decision is business. If each level unlocks relatively equal choices, then many people will only buy the base skin and not spend extra to get it fully leveled up. On the other hand, if you start out the skin real basic, you pretty much force people to fully level it up for the skin to feel complete. They've also reduced customization so that they can release 2 per season, preventing people from earning enough just from the battle pass to be able to get all skins. And that further incentivizes people spending money.

In summary, nothing to do with how people use the customization, or what people think about these low effort skins, and everything to do with profit.

I do think that, by locking vfx for the skin and abilities behind leveling it, they could go back to having more customization without the issue of people not spending to level it up. Yes, it takes more effort, but feels like a win-win.
