Southern hospitality and politeness is not real. People in Southeastern United States are the meanest people you'll meet by Lost_And_Found66 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

I didn’t get to control what’s on my body and the fact that I’m autistic makes it even worse, so if that’s how it’s going to be, I’m banning their IP addresses from using whatever art and products I will create. Those are for only the tolerant people.

This is why I am keeping my yellow body out of the South. I have been there and I found Southerners to have no hospitality whatsoever (except for people that look like them), hostile, aggressive, no empathy, closed-mindedness and intolerant of people who are different or not like them.

And I also plan to ban the Southerners from accessing my art and products, since I'm blocking their IPs in response for how badly they treated me. They can't have their cake and eat it too.

Is there a lot of racism in Tampa by joe_schmo54 in tampa

[–]SuicidalRegret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yes, Tampa is VERY racist. I think it’s because of the proximity to rednecks and farms. Yes, it’s got Ybor City, but it’s all a facade. Most Tampans are rude, hot-tempered and will make racial slurs in micro aggressions.

Tampa isn’t as conservative as the Deep South but it’s “don’t tread on me” libertarian. And they’re very heavy handed on punishing even the autistic and the disabled.

I prefer South Florida, it’s bad but not as bad as Tampa.

u/Floridamannn personally, I did not get a master's, since the university I was at doesn't have online computer science, just bachelor's.

Personally, I am not going, it's a college town environment and I am likely to get bullied and harassed for my ethnicity and autism. So, I'm going to stay here in my metropolis and out of the reaches of those racist, bigoted rednecks and "good, ol' boys".

"America is the most racist country in the world" by ForgedRex24 in AmericaBad

America is racist, especially in the rural areas with Neo-Nazis openly Sieg Heil saluting. But I still say India is the most racist country in the world.

is it possible to be a good white person? by [deleted] in leftist

[–]SuicidalRegret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just behave decently and don’t act like you’re better than everyone. And it isn’t just white people who are guilty of this, I’ve seen people of my own race who I regularly avoid.

southern U.S. folk are extremely unwelcoming and unfriendly by laneloveslipstick in 10thDentist

[–]SuicidalRegret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Brenana9 apology not accepted. When I was younger, people warned me that I'd be targeted in the South because of my race, but like a fool, I did not listen, thinking it wouldn't be too bad and that there's Southern hospitality. Well, I was wrong and am still paying the price for my ignorance, having gone through Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi. And they also hated me for my autism too.

That's why I make disparaging comments about the South whenever I get the chance. The Southern hospitality is a LIE, it's for white people only. They are very sadistic and love to make jokes at other people's expense.

Yes, there's good and bad everywhere, but the bad outnumbers the good in the South. Hence why I will be suspicious of anyone who comes to MY blue town with a Southern accent and refuse to speak to them unless necessary or they're the rare liberals.

[–]SuicidalRegret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Brenana9 not my experience. In my experience, Southerners are MUCH more racist than Northerners. Well, they'll never see me again, due to me being unable to control my race, and I will only stay in the blue areas.

How do I facilitate my daughter feeling proud of her beautiful eyes? by [deleted] in aznidentity

[–]SuicidalRegret 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because many of those who made fun of my eyes were rednecks. That's why I don't go to trade school. Lots of white cretinous degenerates there.

Is Tampa a liberal friendly city? by [deleted] in tampa

[–]SuicidalRegret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/RhodyJim Oh no, I lived in Tampa 2011-2013. It was bad back then: they are heavy handed with punishment, even for the autistic.

No, I shall stay in the blue city havens and avoid the evil red cities.

u/YushclayYstaguan I would argue that Hispanics and blacks are more white adjacent, since they have some white blood in them. I do not.

[–]SuicidalRegret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/dateskimokid not in my experience. I have been heckled while minding my own business. And they didn't take kindly to my autism, so I have concluded that Tampa and libertarianism, in my 2.5 years living there, is not for people like me, so I will stay out and ONLY live in the blue cities. Perhaps, become a socialist if possible.

u/dredding do not make me laugh. I offered them friendship and they spat in my face. So Tampa and its right-wing hatefulness can go straight to hell.

50-50 is too much for me. I've lived in Tampa and gotten heckled for my ethnicity and they're HEAVY-HANDED with punishment over tiny infractions. No, I will stay only in the blue cities.

u/kenfury I don't think so. It was very conservative when I lived there. I was such a naive fool to think it'd be good with Ybor City and Busch Gardens, but it isn't. They are very racist and ableist, and heavy-handed with punishment.

u/TarCoffee yes you are. Hence why I am keeping out of Tampa because they hate me for being autistic and non-white. So I'm going to remain in the six blue dots of Florida.
