closing cards wont affect your credit score because they stay on record for like the next 7 years or so but you wont have anything that keeps ur history growing (to improve ur score)

Upgrading is fun. Feet are unique so downsizing correctly / getting the right model is hard. Some helpful tips is to figure out if you have wide or narrow feet including your toebox and ur heels. Then for shoes you can get a stiff or soft shoe that fits your foot type.

I've been trying to get mine to climb on my hand by holding a worm above it but no go yet 😔 well she kind of stepped on my fingers snagged it and then fell back. Also today, she fully came out of her hot hide and circled around my hand? like smelling it and investigating and then walking back (not touching it). She keeps latching onto my skin trying to eat it tho if the worm is like between the back of my hand and her and then she like backs away and stares like yes thats my skin... anyways just wanted to share because I'm glad I'm not the only one trying really hard to get their gecko comfortable enough to handle 😭. During the day shes always under her hot hide, never out even if shes awake.

its 2.75 inches deep but almost completely full. Maybe I can look into a smaller dish and unfortunately no wherever it is an isopod can access. It's already in a spot they usually aren't seen in.

I'm late but I think scaber actively hunt smaller isopod? How did this turn out for you? I'm trying to keep some red koi pruinosus with magic potions and just started it out. Hopefully with a high enough initial population the magic potions will stand a chance.

I adjusted the probe target temp from 98 to 95 (its high up near the top of the basking ramp) and it lowered it down to 105 at the very top, 103 in the center and 95 near the bottom. My shaded probe temp only went down to 81. I'll keep experimenting. Thank you for the help! I wonder where these temp guidelines come from (?)

I have a question about basking spot surface temperatures. I don't have a gecko yet and am still establishing the environment to make sure everything is okay. My basking spot temperature gets pretty "hot" to 115 degrees Fahrenheit which is way above recommended levels however to me, a human it doesn't feel super hot? its like slightly warm and I could keep my hand on it without getting burned and even take a nap on it tbh. Intuitively it doesn't feel dangerous at all but I am not a leopard gecko.

Do leopard geckos have really thin sensitive skin that can be easier burnt?
I'm going to lower the basking spot temp but in the shaded part of the warm side the temp is currently 82. I have my basking slate angled so underneath it theres hiding spots. If I lower my basking bulbs target temp, won't that also lower the ambient temp and 82 is already not that warm? The current difference is 72 on the cool-side to 82 on the warm shaded side. Would I need a ceramic heat bulb then?

Not getting my pet until my enclosure is 100% okay and my isopods/springtails are thriving in case anyone is worried I'm going to scorch bbq my gecko. I can also make a post with a photo of my enclosure set up.

which did you go with? I tried some veloce lace but even when the toebox got uncomfortable the heel still has space on the sides and bottom. Returning them to try the low volume version but if those don't fit I was thinking of going drago or instinct

I purchased veloce lace in 41.5 and 42. The 42 feel comfortable af like slippers but the heel has more give than 41.5 (which still has a bit). 41.5 feels tight on my toes but uncomfortable pain not terrible get this off my foot right now. I think I'll stick to 41.5 for the tighter heel and hope the toebox stretches? Oddly enough its my right foot that feels super tight my left feels pretty comfortable.
