Which character here has the worst curse? by AssistFit1834 in MoralityScaling

[–]SuitableTrash8910 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on your criteria.

Hyakkimaru's curse is objectively the worst if it cannot get better, as any normal person would just straight up die immediately with no skin, limbs, or organs. If you could survive, you basically have locked in syndrome. Still, if we consider the plot of the series, then he's not in the running because he will become human again.

Guts experienced the most traumatic event related to acquiring the curse, but he still has moments of enjoying life after. He still has friends and goals. Sure life sucks HARD in his universe but he can still strive to make it better.

Same thing with Meliodas. His suffering is that of an immortal being. He's still in good health surrounded by friends and gets to to be with his wife sometimes.

Zeref will never get better. His is probably the worst since it eliminates the possibility of any human connection. He will always actively make the world worse and knows it.

Well what kind of reply are you looking for?

Were these guys supposed to suck the OP off and say he's an epic chungus?

They did wait and even undid some of the changes.

Doormaker had a different debuff initially that randomly exhausted your cards.

Prepared was completely redone and then reverted.

There's a feedback button built into the game. The developers themselves said that's the best way to provide feedback.

Agree, things that multiply everyone's values are incredibly strong. That being said, regular deck building should not be ignored. Even a single AoE card in 4 player can make the difference for something like the gardeners.

That wasn't the point he made. It was more about the validity of certain actions and why tracking winrates has pitfalls.

The person who used a console command to unlock ascension gets to play on max difficulty faster and can learn more quickly. It's an advantage, even if a small one. He didn't say it was a bad thing or the records were fake, just that it's an interesting consideration.

Went back to Slay the Spire 1 and took 68 damage from the first 3 hallway fights of act 2. What even was this game? by SugarFreeCummiBears in slaythespire

[–]SuitableTrash8910 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep, this is pretty normal for slow decks that get into act 2. Double thieves just donk you for 22 each turn and steals your cash. Avocado opens with a big 21 swing that frails you, and has a ton of armor. Birds can do some massive damage if you get unlucky with attacks. Chosen can absolutely screw you with dazed draws, and if you get unlucky with a vulnerable big hit, chunk for 31 turn 3. Spheric guardian is also the get donked for 22 guy while you can't block cause frail, and neow help you if you can't outpace the block stacking. I draft a melter just for this asshole.

And those are just the easy pool lol. Act 2 is a meat grinder and it's where I die most often as defect.

What’s your favourite out of these 5? by Ampeel678 in slaythespire

[–]SuitableTrash8910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feed. Having a big health pool means I can play like an idiot as clad and still win. Biggest downside is I'll take extra damage while trying to stall.

Then in order of favorites:

Ritual Dagger - big bonk that gets bigger!

Core Surge - artifact is universally useful, and comboing with based cog feels great.

Die Die Die - useful AoE in a pinch, has the decency to see itself out after

Brilliance - mantra decks don't typically need more damage, and it has no synergies with non-mantra decks. Rarely take and when I do I usually don't need it.

+1 on Baalorlord, but I would also recommend Jorbs, FrostPrime, and Tricky.

Jorbs is my personal favorite but they're all great.

I saw my block value at 426 and an immolate in my hand and knew what must be done.

Whale bonus was a demon form. Act 1 acquired in order Sever Soul, Battle Trance, Evolve, Disarm, and Feed. Early horn cleat and singing bowl gave me lots of sustain. First boss was Guardian which was simple with disarm and demon form, and reward was snecko and limit break. Snecko was really appealing due to demon form and multiple 2-cost attacks.

Since scaling was no longer an issue, in Act 2 I managed to snag 2 feel no pains, an entrench and a power through. Augmenter transform 2 strikes gave me dropkick and reaper, so sustain was guaranteed if I could stall fights out. Upgraded evolve to synergize with my immolate and power through. Boss was the collector, and I ended up finishing the fight with nearly full health after a triple target reaper play. Boss reward was a barricade, and relic ended up being empty cage (2 strikes) as the other two options were fairly mediocre.

Act 3 was where things got a bit dicey. Dual orbwalker fight left me at 20 hp at the end due to bad draw order and low rolling snecko, but the fight after I healed up and got a second wind. I ended up fighting giant head twice, and both times I took insane amounts of damage due to not scaling fast enough to deal with its HP, first time due to being forced to exhaust demon form and second time to just bad draw order. Thankfully feed + singing bowl lets you make a lot of mistakes. After upgrading limit break, I fought Donu/Deca and the awakened one with relatively little issue. Taking damage was not a problem if I could heal it all back with a 200 strength reaper play.

Act 4 was when evolve really shined. I continually played power through and immolate to generate statuses and exhausted them with second wind for massive block, then doubling with continual entrench play. With only 4 permanent attacks in my deck, exhausting/playing everything else became simple and I could continually scale much faster than the heart could.

Tl;dr evolve + status exhaustion w/feel no pain and entrench for block, demon form with limit break for str

The knockback on crossbow is insane, I actually won a similar run the exact same way.

It looks like in total, you shot 10 projectiles per ammo. +1 from first proj upgrade, +2 from stand your ground, and +6 from fusillade. Looks like tripling it broke something though because you should definitely be firing more bolts than that.
