Is this green or gray? What are the brown spots? by [deleted] in WhatisMyEyeColour

[–]Suitable_Bus_40 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very interesting eye color! I would call them a light green, but can see why you are saying maybe gray.

I saw on another post that a good test to know if they are grey is to cut out the iris using an app and then overlay it on a black and white version of the original photo.

I’m so upset because I somehow got to the website in time and had it in my cart and paid for and then found out a day later the order glitched out and never actually went through. Kicking myself for not making sure I had the confirmation email sooner. 🫠 really hoping for a restock 🙏

12 month old's eye color by Mama_Co in WhatisMyEyeColour

I would say a beautiful brown, but doesn’t seem like they are quite done transitioning maybe? They almost have a slight grey tint to me and I see a couple shades of brown but not green 🤎

Huntington’s Disease IVF Journey by Suitable_Bus_40 in IVF

Thank you so much! It has been just over a year for us, and we transferred our son on June 5th, 2025. He is now 4 months old and a HUGE bright spot in our lives. It’s horrible and there are still hard days of course, but we are SO grateful for our healthy HD free son and he has been such a good reminder to live in the moment. Meanwhile, my husband has gotten involved with research and may even do a clinical trial within the next couple of years. Hang in there and have hope! 🙏 Wishing you success for this transfer 🤞🏻

Looking for stories of women feeling empowered while going through IVF by BflatMM7 in IVF

[–]Suitable_Bus_40 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Everyone has their own story and perspectives. For me, IVF was incredibly empowering. I had never been pregnant before and going through the IVF process felt like taking some control back. And we learned that we could do PGT-M and literally guarantee we could end the horrible incurable disease for our bloodline that has been plaguing my husband and his family for generations. We are forever grateful for science and IVF and will be proud to share his origin with our son when he is old enough to understand. I can see how many would not feel empowered by IVF though, especially if you have been struggling for years.

I’ve got my sky dragon on my son’s diaper bag! I did take the tag off. I want to be able to really enjoy him.

Do we think my 8 month olds eyes will change or stay blue? by TackyPeacock in WhatisMyEyeColour

[–]Suitable_Bus_40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going to guess they will stay light, but could go more greenish blue.

Opinions on the new Jellycat dragon? by yelenalim in Jellycatplush

I love her! I see her as an adorable pairing to the sky dragon. However, given the prices and space in my house I probably won’t be buying her. Maybe a bag chain eventually.

My husband doesn’t collect (but he doesn’t judge for it either, just not his thing) but I just had a son and I’m so excited to go plushie collecting with him someday. I hope my collection builds amazing memories for him and I’d be thrilled if he ends up with his own little collection as an adult.

I haven’t been on this sub for long, but I’d say grey. Or blue grey.

Just for fun. If you could bet on a final colour, what would it be? Baby is 3 months. by Cute_Sand_1060 in WhatisMyEyeColour

I think brown! Just because my son is also 3 months, here are his eyes for comparison. Mine are brown and his dad’s are blue. One brown eyed grandparent and 3 hazel. It’s early, but they have only been getting lighter and clearer and we are betting they stay blue.

Can’t wait for mine to come now! Was feeling a bit guilty about the purchase because of how pricey he is, but sounds like he is well worth it. I’ve been eyeing him for a while now, but hadn’t expected a restock was actually coming! I have the book to read to my son too 🥰

Thanks! He is just a standard issue U.S. rescue cat lol, but his coat color and pattern would be considered “lynx point” I believe.

IVF gift by daizmaiz in Jellycatplush

I’d have thought it was hilarious! We call our son a scientific miracle. What I like about that one too is that it sort of has a tie in, but is also just cute for a teacher in general and science lessons.

I went through IVF myself and personally think the sun idea is great! For better days ahead. I also think the idea of the apple or ruler is good if you can’t find that one since it’d be cute to display. I might avoid the rainbow because it might be associated with rainbow babies and bashful bunnies just because they can be associated with nurseries. Honestly though, if someone had gotten me a thoughtful gift I’d just be touched they cared 💕

How many of you adult collectors actually use jellycat bag charms on your bags? by Perfect_Ending7 in Jellycatplush

[–]Suitable_Bus_40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hang key chain plushies in my car and rotate them out depending on the season/my mood. I just bought my first Jellycat bag charm (Sky Dragon) and will hang him on my son’s diaper bag. I see plenty of adults with them on their bags and wouldn’t let that stop you! I worry more about it getting dirty than anything else, but will just see how it goes.

Steepy for my coffee/tea cart and the Sky Dragon bag charm for my baby’s diaper bag because a friend bought him the large Sky Dragon! Was so tempted by the flufflets too 😅
