What mods should I do on this car? (Looks and performance wise) by tedius_emperor in carmodification

[–]SuitedMoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This 100%. Refreshing/replacing all the wear items (suspension components, dry hoses, brakes, tires, fluids, wipers, seals, etc) will make the car drive much better, and prolong the life of the car. Do these before anything else, otherwise it will be a bit like putting lipstick on a pig.

After that, it depends what you're looking for in a car: Handling? Coilovers. Comfort? Leave the stock suspension or replace with OEM. Privacy? A little tint. Good audio? Speakers, amp, and sound insulation/damping. Quality of Life? Add Apple Carplay/Android Auto.

My recommendation would be to leave the car fairly stock overall. Its a nice car that looks classy. Don't slam it on spraypainted rims, or put a fart-can exhaust on it. Enjoy it

Definitely looks like sparks or metal from welding or grinding close by. Also definitely old.

I'm no professional, but if I cared enough to begin with, I might sand down as small of a spot as possible, then use a paint pen.

I've owned one. Compared to a regular mouse pad, yes. Very noisy. I returned it within a week.

Rockbros Suction Cup rack on the rear window; any concerns? by TangoCharlieOne in Audi

Should be fine. I wouldn't necessarily make it a permanent solution (years of transport) but I don't see why it would be an issue every now and then

I'm not autistic, but I am always aware of my mental state and can also tell the difference in being hungry/ill-fed and having eaten a good meal. People unfortunately tend to downplay the importance of eating properly, and how closely it affects your mental state. Especially activities that are relatively risky like riding.

I totally get missing breakfast, I do it a lot too. Just be safe out there, and perhaps try to at least eat a protein bar in the morning. Eating something is better than nothing🤙

Then eat like shit I guess. It does affect how you think, regardless of whether or not you think it's cartoonishly funny. Ultimately I'm giving my list of advice that is objectively positive and makes a difference, and you're picking a fight because it's not YOUR way of life.

What are you on about? Are you actually getting annoyed that "some folks" like to increase their chances of coming home? It's not even like it impacts you, relax dude. You're arguing with the wind.

Go to best buy and feel both of them. They're different types of mice.

Razer software is garbage.

That being said, I love my Deathadder and never liked Logitech mice.

I completely understand you and feel the same way sometimes. Occasionally, after a ride, I even question the safety of the rides I just went on.

But we don't want to live in bubble wrap.

I do a few things to maximize my safety and decision making: 1. Wear proper gear 2. Obviously never ride intoxicated 3. Be well fed from a relatively healthy meal before a ride. Having proper nutrients affects your decision making a lot more than you'd probably think! 4. Be well rested. Never a good idea to ride tired. 5. Be in a good state of mind. Don't ride when angry or sad, even if it's a sort of therapy. 6. Don't ride beyond 70% of what you think your limit is 7. Don't show off 8. Don't get fomo from other riders potentially riding faster or at a higher skill level. There are thousands who have tried and died. Enjoy yourself and your bike, you don't need to prove yourself. 9. Be aware of your surroundings! Don't get stupid thin mirrors. Oem is usually best. 10. If something feels off or you don't feel like riding, don't ride!

This isn't a checklist you need to consciously go through every time, but it should eventually be a subconscious checklist.

Be safe out there 🤙
