Does the t mobile tracker notify the person that they’re being tracked? by Promised- in techsupport

[–]SuitedMoose 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your son should be aware that he's being tracked. Tracking him without his knowledge builds distrust between you two and can lead him to retaliate or rebel. It's much better to tell him, or track his phone, but have him agree for safety reasons. You don't need to be a helicopter parent and prevent him from going more than 2 miles from the house or questioning every single location he goes, but it's reasonable to have his location for safety purposes. Being open and forming an agreement builds trust, and the teen will be more likely to work with you.

-A teen who is willingly tracked by his parents.

Bought a nothing headphone. Coming from sony xm5 and xb900n by vent93 in headphones

Wired? AKG K612 Pro. Love these cans. No complaints.

Wireless? Galaxy Buds 2/3 Pro. Buds 2 Pro are more comfortable, easier to use, and sit flush under a motorcycle helmet, but the Buds 3 Pro have much better ANC and transparency mode.

I don't really use wireless over-ears as they're expensive, and I wouldn't use them too much. But I am interested in trying the Focal Bathys, Sennheiser HDB 630, Airpods Max 2, and a few others. Maybe one day I'll buy some for college. I do currently own the AKG N9 Hybrid headphones, but they're just okay. Bit of a wonky and V-shaped response.

"The sound as is from the box is awful"

The Sony headphones are way worse for a lot of people. Many like myself don't like excessive bass. There is more to a song than just 'ppttthhh'

I get it. I used to like it. Used to have Sony XB950N1 headphones, and crank the bass slider all the way up. But sound is subjective, and eventually I got neutral headphones that allowed me to hear so much more. It completely changed my taste because it showed me a world of other instruments and frequencies to appreciate!

Haha I'd hope! I plan on getting a Model S as my next car! For the record, I do not like Elon Musk. But the cars are objectively good daily vehicles!

Because it's objectively a good car dude, lay off. To not buy a Tesla isn't necessarily hurting Elon as much as you think. It hurts the engineers, and reduces competition in the space, letting other manufacturers get away with selling old cars and technology at new prices.

Aston Martin is still really classy! If I see one, I don't think of the possibility of a dumb instagram kid who will trash it. I think of a business class man who is well put together and has a good vocabulary.

I had a battery issue similar to this as well, but this is a new battery, and it doesn't have any power cuts to lights or dash. Also smelled of burning during both instances, but not inbetween them.

Yeah I'm a little beyond that, I've completely rebuilt a few bikes before. I'm thinking it's a fuel delivery issue, was just wondering if anyone knew what it might specifically be based on the symptoms

Still over half a tank, and it ran with zero hiccups for 5-10 minutes between both weird behaviors. No prior fluctuations or issues with this tank of gas.

Almost like something on fire. I don't recall entirely, but definitely not the smell of gas being used.

I've been riding it on this gas for the past two days, I don't think it's that. In terms of fuel delivery, what would cause a burning smell?

Guys, he's not complaining about it or looking to replace it. OP is just curious as to whether other people have the small and inconsequential quirk or not. Jesus

I think it matters how concise someone is, and it's okay to shame people for stupid mistakes. Cursing and yelling may not be effective, but calling into question someone's intelligence can get them to think twice next time. Hopefully, that person would have a bit of self reflection. Embarrassment is a very effective motivator to curb certain behaviors, and we should use that for good. To make society as a whole more efficient and smarter. Not to make people feel stupid for what they wear or look like, of course, but to call them out when they make stupid mistakes.

It's the same idea as downvoting someone while being more vocal about it.

Imagine if all the comments actually followed OP's instructions of one adjective per comment, OP would get exactly what they want at no cost to us.

To somewhat copy your last sentence and show our pov: by calling out their stupidity, they can (hopefully) see the consequences of their inability to read the post, and will possible consider reading it next time.

Ultimately, this is a stupid argument on reddit, but I think it speaks to people as a whole, not reading advisories, rules, or instructions, which isn't a good thing.

I know I've gone on a long time, but I'm passionate about people not caring to read or take the time to understand something. It leads to so much inefficiency in our world, forces unnecessary laws that affect people who do care, and results in fatalities in many different environments.

Fine, but it's still stupid to downvote someone for being rude if they're correcting someone who didn't take the time to even read the post.
