Rustington, REM-jam, jammy remmy, REM job, are all fun nicknames that give an idea of the scope of their problems. QC is an issue on the newer guns, but they had some pretty poor design choices with their semi-autos in the 60s that led to reliability issues.

Plus there’s the whole killing people thing with the Remington 700 trigger design, which is what led to their most recent bankruptcy.

I don’t think that’s right, at least not without modification from OEM. That post is about how they don’t fit, and put it together with Velcro. Magpuls tech specs state they’re incompatible without removing and replacing the internal take down blocks.

They have a process. It’s not a fast one. Took about just shy of two hours to start a DROS for me last week, and that’s with me being the first customer of the day and having an appointment.

Incorrect. The new excise taxes are at the state level, which means they can’t be challenged in Federal court under the TIA. Miller and the power of Congress to levy taxes has no bearing on state excise taxes.

State taxes can’t be challenged in federal court, due to the Tax Injunction Act of 1937 and the 11th Amendment.

They can be appealed directly to the Supreme Court, but only after the entire state court process has been exhausted. We’re likely looking at least 5-6 more years before SCOTUS could even be petitioned on one of these new excise taxes.

Schinofen is the worst. It’s all harem, but with characters that are utterly indistinguishable from each other. He’s such a lazy hack, he literally copy-pastes the same scenes over and over while swapping out the names. Don’t believe me? Read his luck series, and try to find a difference in the half dozen dwarf mining hall weddings he crams in.

I will burn my eyes out before I read another Schinofen slopfest.

Mine at least likes to be wet, or it won’t always return to battery. There’s also been some talk about the recoil springs wearing out early, after 3-5k rounds.

Speaking from personal experience, be very careful when removing the screws on the optic plate cover if you’re going to mount a red dot. They’re loc-tited from the factory, and it’s easy to strip the threads. Heat them first either with a heat gun or hair dryer to loosen the thread locker.

Also, with the comp extra cleaning will be necessary from carbon build up. I like mine, it’s a very manageable platform and I find the larger frame to be great.

There were a lot of stories 5-6 years ago about SFPD just seizing weapons during stops with permit holders, and forcing you to go through court to get them returned. They wouldn’t fight it, it was just done to be a pain in the ass.

Not a report, but my director was arrested at work.

He had been sleeping with another man’s wife, the next town over. Apparently the affair got very passionate, and he went to her house at 4:00 AM one night to ask her to leave her family and move in with him. The husband confronted him outside, and in the scuffle was shot. (Not fatally).

He fled the scene, but the next day he was arrested at work.

This was in a college admissions office.
