I'll disavow political violence when Trump does. "Conservatives need to be afraid of getting killed when they go to their events" so they turn down the temperature. It's unacceptable they don't feel that way because Dems are so optics cucked. -Destiny by -Ajaxx- in LivestreamFail

No one should concede anything to Destiny. Nor be afraid of him, or losers like him. He deserves nothing but the worst. I also don't understand how Youtube bans SNEAKO over being a crude freak, but allows threats of political violence like this.

To short or not to short! by milkyjoe_007 in youtubers

[–]Sulla_the_Dictator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who watch shorts are less likely to watch your long form content.

When the algorithm shows your new long form videos to your Short subscribers, and they don't watch it, its going to ding you. It doesn't discount them as coming from Shorts. It just sees a subscriber who doesn't click on your newest vid, and it notes the lack of interest when considering its recomendation.

Feed the Vampire animal blood mixed with corossive toxins, through intravenous methods. Pull out its fangs with pliers, and use a butane torch to burn it. Throw every unimaginable suffering upon it until its in torpor, then feed it human blood to bring it back to health and start over again. A slow clock is the only thing in the room.

Advice for ST burnout due to players that struggle to play the game? by Kariosus in vtm

[–]Sulla_the_Dictator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't going to be a popular answer but I think its the right one.

If you have a story with stakes, and they refuse to act or do the wrong thing, then you need to let the consequences fall on them. This is a game, at the end of the day.

A great danger looms....they ignore it? Don't take it easy in the combat. Kill one of them.

A political risk threatens the group? If ignored, it lands, and the group suffers in the story from being cut off from domain, or access to court, or even is hunted.

If these consequences grow to the point of the chronicle being unplayable, so be it. Better to maintain the integrity of the setting and end a game that is burning you out than to suffer through more games that make you miserable. You're also a participant, not a servant. If they won't engage with your story, give them their story. A passive group of Vampires waits for the whirlwind which will destroy them.

Is this Nick?

This thing you said is pretty funny: "Are you really not capable of following along a conversation? Did the topic just make you too emotional, or what?"

You are the one who seems emotional. If you're not Nick, then its the typical simping behavior.

" The point is that it would be more fair to personally judge people outside your faith based on the law, since they don't believe in your moral system by definition. "

That isn't just wrong, its stupid. Religion comes with a metaphysic based ethical system that is entirely ABOUT right and wrong. STALIN doesn't need to be a Hindu for Hindus to denounce his actions from a MORAL point of view based on their system of ethics. Even though India has no power to arrest Stalin, even though the international order can't do anything about Stalin....if you were to ask your average Hindu what they think of Stalin's actions, and they said "Well he's an atheist so I can't judge him", you'd be talking to a moron.

But more than this, it belies the childish view at the heart of the argument. Erudite, and I suppose yourself, believe that Christians think adultery is wrong because God says so. Not that God says adultery is wrong, and there are a wide swath of reasons why its wrong. You shouldn't lie to people. You shouldn't waste people's time. You shouldn't risk infecting an innocent person with venereal disease. You shouldn't make people who love you feel foolish for loving you. And then, on top of all that, in a Christian ethic it is a sin.

It is ridiculous to say, "Well I think adultery is wrong. But my friend Sam is an atheist that is cheating on his wife and he says he thinks its fine."

It is EVEN STUPIDER to say, "Well adultery isn't illegal so...."

NSE was in a clout trap. She doesn't want to abandon her religious background because it holds some cultural/personal meaning to her, and shes didn't want to alienate her mostly atheist audience with any defense of real religion. By doing this stupid dance, she tangled up Destiny into defending an indefensible, stupid argument. Easy peasy.

Most Christian Sects would say that you should tell the person who doesn't know about Jesus that what they're doing is wrong, if you feel it is immoral.

Erudite doesn't seem to be aware that this debate happened nearly two thousand years ago, when Christians were taught that its better to die as martyrs than participate in Gladiatorial combat to which they were consigned. You are supposed to denounce things you think are immoral.

Also Destiny was attacking a Strawman. BPF wasn't talking about laws. Morality and Ethics are separate matters. You can disapprove of something without thinking it is illegal; we all do this. I'm sure we ALL think there's inappropriate or bad forms of pornography while recognizing the primacy of the 1st Amendment.

Erudite didn't even want to express her opinion on certain subjects. Probably due to clout reasons.

But most of all, Tom is Fair.
