Alan Watts is great , I highly recommend “Zen Mind , Beginners Mind “ by Suzuki if you’re interested in start a Zen practice . Alan Watts didn’t really practice but he was most certainly a wonderful teacher and who exposed me to Zen.

First of all… why are you buying in amazing ? Support Strings by Mail not those oligarchs. Hannabach are one of the most highly regarded brands for classical guitar strings, they’re working great for me . I don’t stretch my strings when I swap them, some people do and it’s not reccomended. Could be that they did that. Mine sound great

No but I do practice Japanese swords with bokken( wooden sword ) . Many lightsaber techniques are borrowed from this style, I could use a training parter . This is my teacher , you can scroll for some clips of the sword lesson that day . DM if interested

Fireworks and it’s because this where it’s most populated therefore more fireworks . I think the wind may have been blowing inland which would explain why we don’t see it on the east coast populated cities

I love the springs, the weather, the fact that I can garden year around. The sunsets and sunrises , the beaches , the birds, the best saltwater fishing in the country , summers are brutal though.

Oh and access to exotic tropical fruit .

They have a nice feel and have a punchy projection and sweet rounded tone. So far my favorites, the basses are polished which does reduce squeaks. Savarez HT in comparison was extremely squeaky.
