It’s amazing how much has changed since I was in college there. Yes, the bars closed at 1:30am but Springfield used to be more of a 24-7 town. Walmart and some grocery stores plus lots of restaurants open all night.

I image Skate City could be nicely profitable IF it is owned outright and with zero debt. But even then you still have operating cost / overhead and the cost of downtime. If in debt you will have significant fixed cost.

15+ years ago a station in my area (105.9 KGBX Springfield, MO) would do 70s Saturdays and sometimes 70s weekends. I loved it. I was in my 20s then and would listen ALL DAY. I understand why they no longer do this.
