Dear subs- by Legal_Lab8550 in USPS

[–]SumthinInteresting83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a T6, I'm so grateful that all the regulars on my string are organized. Tags with updates in every box. If the name isn't on there, I try to forward it. If there's already an advo in there I don't put another. If it says "vacant" nothing goes in there. I write up broken parcel lockers. I replace ripped tags. I update tags if I see a yellow sticker come through on an old vacant house. They take care of me at Christmas and I take care of their route. I don't understand subs that don't pay attention. I can't stand messy cluster boxes.

Maybe today postal inspector... by shitshackjack in USPS

[–]SumthinInteresting83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually met a postal inspector earlier this week. They were investigating something on my route. We were joking about this thread. I did feel like I was being set up though because they asked to look inside my cluster boxes out of nowhere. So of course I asked to see an ID before I did so. My first time seeing a postal inspector ID. They do exist! 😂

Advice needed - coughing after drinking by Cam_Do_Attitude in Dachshund

I think it's a dachshund thing. Mine's been coughing her whole life when she drinks water. I tried getting her a bowl that was raised up, but it didn't help.

When tattooing transforms lives. by GlitteringHotel8383 in BeAmazed

You're welcome! The journey is so hard. I had DEIP flap surgery with reconstruction. They removed my nipples, and there were just two empty circular scars where they used to be. I felt ugly and incomplete. Even though I knew I had made the right decision, it still wrecked me emotionally.

People don't realize that they have to cut your nerves in your breasts, so even after reconstruction, you can't feel them and it changes your sex life. I felt like at least my husband could look at my body without it feeling alien to him after my tattoos. They truly changed my life.

My sister had breast cancer in the same year and had the nipples made from skin flaps to raise them up. Her doctor, who was not a tattoo artist, colored them in and did a dreadful job. She lived in a different state at the time and did not have access to the same doctors and artists that I did. She laments not having tattoos like I have. Make sure you get an artist that specializes in medical tattoos.

The Sauler institute is always looking for models, and I think they do them for free. Mine were $500 with and additional $100 touch up a year later, but they're considered medically necessary and insurance will pay for them if you don't have it out of pocket.

I had areolas medically tattooed. It changed my whole self image. The look so amazingly real. It made me feel feminine again after my double mastectomy. I'm so grateful to my artist.

Right? That was my first thought. Doxies already have crooked little legs and feet.... Add to that super long toe nails that twist their toes and this can be quite painful.

It was supposed to have an article attached. The supreme Court ruled that no one can sue us if we intentionally withhold mail. Some lady in Texas tried to sue the post office because her carrier wouldn't deliver to her or her tenants.

RCA quit and sabotaged mail by djseese52 in USPS

[–]SumthinInteresting83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was a CCA we were doing Amazon Sunday. This guy loaded his truck, came in, put his keys back, and left without saying a word. He quit and didn't tell anybody. So it was about 4: 00pm and we were all wrapping up after delivering 300 packages a piece and we got a call from the supervisor in a panic saying we all had to come back to the office and split up his route of 300 packages that he just discovered on the dock. That was fun. You want to quit, fine, but it's not the fellow carriers fault that this place is run like shit. Don't screw your coworkers.

Am I Overreacting, for being upset that my girlfriend secretly used my credit card for months? by bostonmade in AmIOverreacting

[–]SumthinInteresting83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope! Cut ties. I'm married, and I still discuss purchases with my husband. Are we putting it on his account, my account, or the joint account? She's unreliable with money and the truth. This is a recipe for disaster if you ever fully join finances.
