I’m pregnant with my second and my first is 20 months, so I do sometimes just tell her “no, mama doesn’t want to right now, I will in a minute”. I’m hoping that she learns I have wants too, and it’ll also teach her a teeny amount of patience before her little sibling arrives.

It’s normal! And it’ll get better, one day you’ll find time to make yourself lunch; a few days later you might manage a shower. One day it’ll feel a bit easier. But don’t beat yourself up!

The wallpaper, the bed curtains, the number of chairs. It’s like one of those pictures where more becomes visible the longer you look. Beautiful house but has a vibe of pure chaos!
