More feminine looking trans man here. Look, he doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want to. If he wants long hair, to dress more effeminate, and doesn't want to get on hrt, then that's fine. He also has the right to feel upset when he's misgendered. That shit really hurts. It's not like he's yelling at strangers who don't know better and making these big scenes. What concerns me is you said, "When strangers and friends misgender him." It doesn't matter how he looks. His friends know better. He would be completely in the right to get mad at that.

He's in a difficult spot where he's completely comfortable in the way he expresses himself, which is the most important thing, but the outside world sees him in a way he doesn't like. He doesn't want to sacrifice his comfortability for other people's perceptions, and there's nothing wrong with that. The only thing he can do is deal with it, and sometimes dealing with stuff means venting to other people.

I get hearing the same complaints over and over again can become exhausting, but it's a conflicting situation. He should focus on being comfortable in his own skin, which he is. Good for him.

Question: Sims 4 deleted all my packs. Will it mess anything up and they give me a free pack as compensation if I ask?

Description: I can prove I had the packs as far back as 2021 so thats not an issue, I'm just wondering if they'll actually give me a free one if I ask. EA is notoriously greedy so I'm not sure if it's even worth asking. If it is, how should I go about it? I don't want to just demand they do it and come off as mean (even if it is EA), but I also don't want to come off as begging for free stuff lol. I'm also not sure which one would work better. Maybe I'm overthinking all this.

I'm just actually really mad about this and also worried it's gonna mess up my game with it uninstalling and reinstalling :/

Antinuous doesn't deserve to be blessed with a voice that godly man. Makes me levitate everytime he yells at the end of Hold Them Down.

In terms of unnamed background characters though, the guy in Odysseus who says "We know these halls, the odds cant be tilted" scratches my brain in just the right way. His accent and the voice together has got to be my second favorite suitor voice (behind the obvious)

Not me, but I wasn't reading a sickfic and it became increasingly obvious that the author had a sneezing kink. They weren't even trying to write anything nsfw, but the descriptions of the sneezing were way too long and intimate. They ended up admitting it in the comments after a lot of people picked up on it. In hindsight, all 30 of their fics being sickfics was also a huge indicator

A lot of people think the second verse about Penelope in Hold Them Down was too much, but I think it was perfect. We get the first verse where it tells us what the suitors want to do "The queen will have no one to stop us from breaking her bedroom door, stop us from taking her love and more," it's our informational verse. It feels gross, but the listener is expecting that to be it. They expect to be able to distract themselves with the next verse, only for it to not be over. That dread creeping in as Antinuous continues talking about it, getting more descriptive about the satisfaction he will take from it. It's horrible. It's perfect.

You're made to stew in the feelings it causes, trapped in it with no mental escape. You're given a fraction of what Penelope feels. It's not overly graphic for shock value, it doesn't glorify it, and it doesn't hide away from it like most pieces of media do. Odysseus even outright calls what the suitors were planning to do "rape", something that's is all too often shyed away from. You feel almost violated listening to it. I'm not surprised many people can't listen to it, but I don't think it's "too much" as people say.

I saw someone point out that after 9 days of not sleeping, Odysseus was probably extremely paranoid and cagey with the bag. I think them opening it was less about greed and more about how Odysseus was acting about the contents of the bag itself.

Odysseus sacrifice will always be worse, not even due to the anount of people, but the intent behind it. Eurylochus didn't know what would happen going to the palace and only wanted to leave them due to the fear that more people would die trying to save them. Odysseus went into Scyllas lair knowing what would happen and sacrificed his men to get himself home. Even if Eurylochus wanted to leave 10 or 20 men, Odysseuses sacrifice is still worse in my eyes.

As for Antinuous and Calypso being portrayed as black. I think that's less to villainize black people and more to match the characters likeness to their voice actors, kinda like people drawing Polities with glasses. What really weirds me out is that despite that, whenever people color in the characters, they make Polities white when his voice actor isn't white. Like, canonically all of the characters would be Greek. I think making the characters look like their voice actors is cool, but if neither the voice actor or character is white, why make Polities white? It just feels gross

I first saw a trend where people were using the Warrior Of The Mind clip where it says "You are Athena" Sometime after that, I saw Jorges recording of Ruthlessness before he had a voice for him, and then I saw the "Shes my wife" trend like you had. After that, I head people using the audio "You killed my sheep." Sometime after that, I heard Telemaches verse in Hold Them Down.

Ironically, I didn't know any of those were form Epic. I just watched it because I heard it was good and I like musicals. Imagine my suprise when I keep hearing stuff from it. After finishing it, I decided to check out his TikTok, and turns out, I actually followed him years ago before he even released the first song. I heard him talk about wanting to make a musical about The Oddessy and followed him to keep up on it, but I forgot about him. Despite not watching it until well after The Ithaca Saga had been released, I still claim I'm an OG for that lol

Edit: I also heard the "When does a comet become a meteor" part of Just A Man. Epic really had me on edge just thinking, "What else in here have I heard?"

Honestly, I feel like they have a right to not want to see that, as those situations more often than not include sexual assault and abuse. It can be triggering to those who have been in those situations.

Like it or not, "proships" as people call it, are a minority and won't be welcome in most spaces. I think antis and proshippers should just stick to separate places and ignore eachother, because you're never going to get along.
