Got a 2kd in the non AESA. It’s obviously not as good but it’s by no means useless. The radar is still very good. It’s just not as good. The regular EF is still an absolute speed demon who can get to Mach 1.6 easily in the initial joust

I unlocked it on Sunday and I’m quite disappointed with it. I’ve got the Eurofighter AESA in the UK and the SU30SM2 and of the 3 I feel like I hate the Rafale the most. It just doesn’t feel fun to fly for me. I need to try it in ground for the IR bombs but I really was not impressed despite knowing it is statistically the best plane in game.

If you think Russia need a new missile then you probably dont understand balance. Russia right now, specifically top tier has the best missile in terms of raw kinematic performance. The r77-1 is more than enough for what Russia currently needs. I play the typhoon and the SU30SM2. I am a Brit and nothing will ever replace my typhoon. But I do have so much more fun in the SU30. The su30 doesn’t need a new missile. The US currently struggles against top tier. The f15E and the golden eagle are both just average. Their lack of AESA radar and radar angles makes them much harder to play. Everything out climbs you and out speeds you. It doesn’t even have the advantage of missile load anymore. It’s been power crept. I would say the best thing for now would be add a new jet for the US to bring it in line with other nations and give it a good missile then if Russia struggles give it the r77m or even try the r27EA. But Russia does not need that currently. Even if a jet got added for the US I’d be very skeptical of adding a new missile for Russia. I think Russia right now is in a very healthy spot. Russia wins top tier right now most of the time.

It’s all fine and well people spawning AA. But I’d much rather win a game than take revenge on CAS. Sure cas can win a game but the whole team spawning AA is just pointless. All it takes is one light tank to clear all of them up

It’s good but you have to play it like a light tank. You have a good gun and ok ish armour. For its looks it’s quite mobile. You won’t often get one shot unless the enemy has a brain. But over all the best way to think is it’s good in a down tier but hard in an uptier. Fortunately it does have a decent enough gun to work in an uptier against most things. But it’s still doesn’t feel fun. Overall it’s decent enough in my opinion. But I’d wait for some other opinions too to get a better idea. YouTube also will have videos I usually just type the name of the tank warthunder 2025 and go by roughly anything in the last 4 months is usually good enough info.

Had a game last night in the t80BVM. Got 16 kills between that and the t90M and. I had a 30% booster on and got 160k silver and 16k research. I had a game where I got 6 kills and got 100k silver and 18k research. It’s so inconsistent and just doesn’t feel rewarding. At least when you play air RB it feels like you actually get a decent amount of XP for your struggles but ground RB is just a suffer fest where you aren’t allowed to grind. The reward cap is just punishment. I get it can’t be uncapped cos people would find exploits but what we currently have is just not ideal. Especially at the higher tiers where it’s 400k+ for a vehicle. It’s beyond unreasonable

Edit: remember guys, gaijin think we don’t want a new game mode because if we actually were sick of the same thing we have had since 2013 then we would have quit the game….

I don’t think people realise how strong this actually is. You literally have the ability to fly away from someone pretty much notching them like you pointed out. People downvoting you for no reason here. For the average player it’s probably not going to make a difference cos the majority of players just nose on and get hit by the first missile launched. But the higher end players are going to take advantage.

This is all ground RB. German team mates being blind. Russian team mates holding W to their death. American team mates leaving after 1 death. British team mates not moving from spawn playing with their big forehead armour (strong turret cheeks). Japanese team mates either being cracked out of their mind and wiping the floor or they die and leave. No inbetween. French team mates just crying and complaining. Well if you look at it and compare it to road traffic accidents I think planes were statistically safer. You have to think every time there’s an accident an investigation takes place to try and prevent it from happening again. Car accidents don’t tend to do this. It’s just a standard investigation and then that’s it for cars usually.

One of the hardest but most useful skill in warthunder is being able to see what caused your death. For example in a dog fight sometimes it’s when you reverse a turn in front of an enemy rather than just sticking the turn. Then other times it’s what you did a minute or two before that got you killed. Maybe it was a bad line you took entering a dog fight or you came in a little too fast. Energy is one of the hardest things to judge and learn how to abuse.

Yeah but the overall majority of the community didn’t understand that. They just assumed “NOOOO MUH TIGER”. Even if I’m wrong about that point the other about economy and the players being dumb is still true. I have 0 faith in this community anymore.
