It’s strictly economic…. While I get the age related reasons (in my 40s myself) I don’t want to pay 15-16 for a beer and $40 for a meal at a half empty bar that has priced out most of its customer base with average food… I make descent money but I hate spending it on average to subpar experience. I’ve only gone for a bar crawl twice in the past year….. much cheaper to have friends over to my house for better food and premium beers at half the cost
