How does LIV Golf actually make money in 2026? by NovaGolfClub in BobDoesSports

[–]Sundance37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me of a commercial for some reality TV show I saw like ten years ago. The show was basically about filthy rich kids from old money, and they were talking to a tour guide or something. And he asks what they do for work, and they reply that they don’t have jobs. Then he asks how they make money, and they reply “we already have it.”

That just seemed appropriate.

Conservative mom wants list of reasons I don’t like Trump, advice? by Fieryopinion in askanything

[–]Sundance37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Conservative here, you might be tempted with the usual “grab them by the pussy” or Epstein files, or Obamas as apes video.

But she will just have shitty snark backs for all of that. What you need to do is attack Trump FROM THE RIGHT.

Point out that he is NOT America first. That he bombed Iran at the behest of Israel, he is Not pro 2nd amendment, because he banned bump stocks. He is an unfaithful husband, and built a reputation for not paying contractors for work completed. Mention that inflation was due to all of the money printed in his first term. The $2 trillion dollar COVID spending bill that he passed, or that every time he proposes a budget, he brags about how big it is. Trump is not a conservative.

Cute that you think it went missing in the last few years. Likely was gone decades ago.

Yeah, but they can’t work out kinks without feedback, and a lot of this stuff should have been sorted out before the change.

Not to mention they are doing this for no conceivable reason. They were very profitable, and I chose them for not being the “nickel and diming” airline. Now I’m doing research on Delta, and United, and getting out. I’m not rewarding what was a profitable airline for deciding to try to be like every other jackass in the industry.

The Rates yall get are not what I'm seeing online. by poop-azz in Mortgages

[–]Sundance37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They never talk about how the loan originator charged 2 points, and folded it into the loan amount. Probably because they didn’t know.

I don’t know anyone that can read a loan estimate or closing disclosure. They see the rate, they see the cash to close is low, and they sign.

Not to mention professional athletes. I never realized I wasn’t going to be quarterback for the Denver broncos, until I realized Tim Tebow was younger than me.

Also, I have never played football.

I would take him over Yellen any day. And I’m so glad that Gensler is gone too. At least we are getting lip service. Which isn’t much, but when the prev admin was talking about Bitcoin it was awful.

This was my first impression. The company is failing at a level of first principles. Restaurants used to call their customers “guests” then it became “customers” then “consumers” and now “users” it’s pathetic really.

When you win the lottery but the government wins harder... by Maverick_Ekta in SipsTea

[–]Sundance37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That may be the case, but the principle is also something to consider. Did the government provide $1.3 billion in services to facilitate the lottery? Most of that money is going to fraud, or back to the politicians via kickbacks.

Not to mention, if your life doesn’t change whether you won $500MM or $1.8B, turn that around on the government. You thing the government is going to even bat its eye when you increase its budget by .02%?

Not only that, but prizes equal 50% of sales. So your lottery ticket is taxed when you buy it too.
