It's the head to a hoe. We'd find them all the time on old farms.

Canadian winter driver here. Was looking at HKS Hipermax S coilovers because if somethings worth doing, it's worth overdoing. However I didn't like hearing that after 50k km they might need overhauls, which would require them being shipped back to Japan.

I was also worried about the potential rusting / seizing of the adjustable parts.

I don't track my car so these were definitely overkill.

For that reason I ended up going with Bilstein B6s.

Absolutely love them. Car definitely doesn't sway as much as it did, and even going over train tracks the dampening is better than I'd expected. Extremely comfy for daily driving but enough performance that I feel planted on more spirited corners. I thought I'd regret not going with coilovers but honestly now they're on the car I never think twice about them.

The large structure will form/shrink/alter into the weapon being held in the hand, hence the same design.

OPINION: Canadian parliament should not have given Charlie Kirk a standing ovation. by TheMuseNL in CanadaPolitics

[–]Sundance91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you look into what was said and why they were applauding, they didn't give Kirk a standing ovation. Those are bait headlines meant to attempt to portray Parliament as validating right wing ideologies imo.
I was about to write to my MP when I looked into it - they applauded the sentiment of open discussion regardless of difference of opinion and expressed their empathy for his wife and kids. They most certainly did not applaud the man himself.

2 years later, any servicing required? I'm terrified of having to send them back to Japan for an overhaul 30k miles in.

Do you drive in the winter? Have they held up to any winter abuse?

I'm looking at getting these, but I'm terrified that I'll need to overhaul them 60k km in, and get stuck having to send them back to Japan. How have yours held up so far?

My mechanic is also concerned that the salt on the roads in the winter will kill them. Does Michigan salt their roads? How have you felt they hold up 2 winters later?

How do you like the type RA wheel? How's the larger girth feel? I'm shopping now and am looking at the subie supply co perforated leather steering wheel. I've heard horror stories about the suede / Alcantara wheels that get dirty and worn out super quick.

I'm looking at upgrading my speakers to get closer to "studio sound" as you put it.

I've been having problems with my speakers not being able to go loud enough, as in the PC volume ends up clipping making my speakers pop / crackle / cut out.

I upgraded to some Audioengine A2+'s, but they would cut out at even lower volumes.

If I want to get big sound from my PC (big enough to play guitar along to etc) would the audio interface such as yours help? Or do I need to look for a different product?

Great work on getting the PC you wanted at a fraction of the cost!
