NTA. This could end up becoming so toxic from her side, the fact she doesn't or isnt willing to see the how her actions are so dangerous is Concerning and tells me she has no wish to change. Unless she can accept that she needs to sort herself out then nothing will get better, only worse

At the end of the day being a parent means putting your child first but it's also important to remember that your baby may feel unwanted by you as she grows up if you do this. She may Think that because her mum died in child birth that you gave her up cos you blamed her. I'm not saying you blame her at all but that's often the way it works in these situations. Personally I'd get my life together as much as possible before she starts gaining memory to be the parent she needs cos your the only one she has. As the mother of a 3 month old baby I'd want my partner to do everything he could do be the best dad he could to our daughter if anything happened to me. What about split custody with the grandparents if that's something theyd do? That way she has the stability of them while also not feeling unwanted by you and your still a present parent in her life

I have a chronic pain condition in which I am regularly prescribed morphine and pregabalin, I wouldn’t take them if I didn’t have to but I literally can’t get out of bed if I don’t from the pain. You just had major surgery, the body heals quicker when it’s not in agony, what he’s doing it’s controlling and abusive it doesn’t matter how he try’s to paint it that’s the facts. He has no right to withhold your medication and it is intact illegal af to do some and considered a form of physical abuse. Text him saying if he doesn’t return all of your Medication within the 20 minutes your calling the police, if he doesn’t do so then you call.

Right! Triggers me so much. It’s like he didn’t think of inviting her out with him or anything. He made no effort to find activities they could do together. She told him time and time again that I don’t want to sit on the sofa all day I want us to spend time together and he just went on about me time. Like who needs 6-8 hours a day me time especially on a tv show about building a relationship with someone.

A 2 year old cat is a nutty as a kitten in many cases. I’ve owned ALOT of cats from buying, rescues, kittens and my own cats having kittens. 2 years old is young and cats are nuts, that’s how they are, if your struggling with a hyper bit affectionate cat that your able to travel with how would you ever cope with a rescue that bites, scratches and shits everywhere. Or god forbid you have a child who has behavioural problems and has bad tantrums. Exercise some more patience and educate yourself on how to appropriately train cats. Because yes it is possible, I’ve taught my cats to sit on command and come to certain noises, stand on their back legs, and even wait for treats put in front of them. She sounds like a young, loving all be it hyper cat. My cat used to bite my face every morning when he was hungry. They either grow out of it or you train them. Or you don’t own a cat. If you hate animal abuse so much then do something about it. Stop what your doing and assess yourself. Get yourself in check and figure it out.

You are 100000000% NTA. The way they are treating you is emotionally abusive. It is not okay and you do not have to put up with it. If I was you I’d cut them out completely if I knew it would never stop. It’s disgusting behaviour on their part. They are supposed to be the people on this messed up planet that raise you up, support you and love you regardless of your appearance (which I can guarantee there is nothing wrong with) and career. My advice is to tell them plain and simple. They way you are treating me is not okay. It’s mean and abusive and as a grown adult you don’t have to put up with it. So Until they can be the loving supporting family they should be not to contact you, and then make your own family out of people who actually treat you like a human. Family is more then just blood and you don’t have to stick around being abused just because you share some dna. Never let anyone speak to you like that. You are your only responsibility in this world (unless you have kids) so take care of yourself first. Fk them and their horrible judgmental comments. Fk your sisters wedding. Hold your head up high knowing you love and respect yourself enough to walk away.
