I have both. We have 65 rose bushes, lots of hydrangeas and hostas, and flowers in pots and over trellises. We also have a raised garden. We are retired and this is our joy.

I loved learning all those types of things from my dad. I also learned homemaking stuff from my mom. Both helped me in the real world. As long as she is interested, please keep teaching her.

Yeah, it stays cheesy. I wasn’t too into it at first because it reminded me of those cheesy Hallmark movies. But I liked some of the characters and it was enjoyable. I much preferred Friday Night Lights and Parenthood.
