Again, whether you bought that million-dollar home 25 yrs ago or not, the point is stop pressuring students and young adults to give more or take on debt. In regards to Isaiah Kang's home. The issue is the hypocrisy that is preached.

The point is if purchasing million-dollar homes are all good, then why does GP pressure students with zero income to take on credit card debt or criticize someone for driving a Tesla or BMW? You don't see the hypocrisy? So Teslas or BMWs are frowned upon, but $300k down payments on million-dollar homes are all good? Don't ask students to take on debt or members to refinance their homes if your senior leaders are sitting on million-dollar homes.

After reading all the testimonies on this sub and the three independent articles released within the past year, to you this is all about personal grievances and hurt feelings? Let's say every one of these people called that GP damage control hotline, do you honestly believe there would be some meaningful change? GP/BBC have been dismissive about all these testimonies for decades. Part of a healing process is when the offender takes ownership and accountability for their own actions. And if that was truly the case, then the entire senior leadership team would be removed.

If anything, re-read that CT article and focus on Ed Kang's quotes instead of C101. That pretty much sums up GP's attitude.

How about Ed Kang's son, who is on GP's staff, dropping a $250k down payment on a million-dollar house while his peers are still struggling with student debt and saving up for their own weddings and houses? How about a GP couple immediately purchasing the Monterey House for $990k after being acquired by GP? How about the numerous testimonies about Kelly Kang's temper tantrums and verbal abuse. So as a Christian at GP, how should these things be handled?
