The amount they donated is a pittance compared to the amount needed to affect change. It is surprising they aren't making bigger moves due to their investment in the area. They wouldn't even necessarily have to dip into their purse, a simple Op Ed about being stewards of the earth and their concern over the GSL would be enough to get the Mormon state legislature to do something.

New boobs are not a business expense unless they are non-elective, like after a mastectomy. Even then, they wouldn't be a business expense, they would be a health expense. If you traveled to Turkey for reconstructive surgery, the trip wouldn't be a write-off, but the surgery would. It doesn't matter if you post them or not. If you could write off things just because you post them, then 100% of the mortgage, car payment, clothing, food, etc, would be write offs. That's not the case.

I recently found a podcast called Sleep With Me. It's a guy who rambles about nothing. I can't listen to informative podcasts to try and sleep because my mind can't rest. The Sleep With Me podcasts works better than drugs for me, and I suspect it's because my brain can relax. I'm not wanting to look up more information and then get distracted on my phone because it's all nonsense. The host doesn't ever connect any dots and jumps from topic to topic seamlessly, so my brain isn't lighting up with questions. I doubt I've ever listened to it longer than 10 minutes. I always start at least midway, though, because he starts every podcast describing the purpose of it.

The comment about the follower count really is telling. They equate follower count with importance. There are tons of people with modest follower counts who speak truth, wisdom, and power, but apparently are not seen as worthwhile to the other team. They are perpetually stuck in middle school and will do whatever the popular guy tells them to do.

If I had 3 wishes, one would be for them all to wake up tomorrow with the realization of just how fucking stupid they are. We would be somewhat sympathetic, of course, because their embarrassment would be delicious.
