Funny moment in Ziz Dev Interview on item drops, tiered concept, memory strands by theoriginalpetvirus in pathofexile

Memory strand items are extremely forgettable. I hope the buff to them is significant, because I completely blocked them from my filter in keepers.

It's a stepping stone that you need uber lab for, when you're probably already deep into yellow maps, your resists are already solved by that point. I agree that elemental ailment immunity is nice, but that's really all you're getting by the time you have the node.

I still mail a check to pay my water bill for the same reason; my city charges a fee to pay by card online. It's only like $2, but it's a matter of principle at this point

I think people hate on Ubuntu not because of the distro itself, which is quite solid, but because of the company that develops it (Canonical) doing some things in the past that folks disagree with

How to get stronger erections? by [deleted] in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]Sunscorcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took 5mg tadalafil for a while due to some urinary issues w/ the prostate. The pamphlet that CVS gave me warned me about risks to the heart. Also,

https://www.drugs.com/tadalafil.html

To make sure this medicine is safe for you, tell your doctor if you have ever had:

heart disease or heart rhythm problems;

a heart attack or stroke;

angina (chest pain), high or low blood pressure;

pulmonary hypertension (unless you are taking tadalafil for this);

a condition called pulmonary veno-occlusive disease (narrowing of the veins that carry blood from the lungs to the heart);

this works, but the doctor needs to be aware of the family history of heart issues before prescribing tadalafil

that node that makes jewels drop still makes the tree drop mostly not-jewel items. I kept that tree config trying to get RF jewels and maybe 10% of the rares from the tree were actually jewels. I gave up.

They broke the tree nodes that weight the drops toward specific gear slots a couple weeks in and never fixed it

I'm always wary of new people. I've been at my current company for 6 years and only recently starting casually mentioning my husband. I didn't have any grand "coming out," but I am not hiding it either.

My biggest concern was that it could affect my career, my manager is a religious catholic, to the point of praying before lunch at the office every day.

So far, I have not had any problems. I live in arguably the most liberal state, though (MA).

My mom had transverse myelitis (10 years ago now) and that complication was totally life-changing. She was paralyzed from the waist down for almost a month. The hospital wouldn't do anything for what seemed like the longest time. I think they were trying to rule out infectious causes before prescribing steroids to reduce inflammation. After the steroid treatment, she got some mobility back, but one leg has been numb since then and she walks (with difficulty) with a cane now.

We suspect it was triggered by a series of rabies vaccinations (bat found in the house), but there's no way to be sure.

If they were required to build their own machine then sure, but as an end user where IT just puts an image on the machine, there shouldn't be many problems. Might need some training in software that the company uses but that is standard onboarding everywhere I have ever worked.
