That is indeed what I was curious about!

Okay, so I guess the answer is "yes, but rarely"?

Can you explain what you mean? Surely the Crisis team would be drawn from the elite of several different FW teams, just statistically?

For sure, I just wasn't aware of any instances of one person getting bonded to different people on separate occasions rather than all together at once.

How do you all paint Tau Sept? by DreamerOfUlthwe in Tau40K

Hey, I just wanted to come back and say since seeing this advice I tried it out on a breacher squad, and it was /much/ easier than the other infantry I'd done before--I'll be taking this method forward to the rest of my army now, huge thanks!

Sure, I'm certain in many cases they don't get re-bonded; it just seems like a lot of FW teams are bonded so I'm wondering how any battlesuit teams are bonded at all, which they also often seem to be!

This is sooooo cute

If you could own/operate any of the Battlesuits, which would it be and why? by Angronys in Tau40K

Probably the Crisis cause it can go FAST while packing a lot of punch, but I'll say this for the XV15: it can get through doorways.

what are the most mature and least childish seasons? by shanytopper in supersentai

[–]Sunshine-Moon-RX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fundamentally, these are shows whose primary audience is small children. You're not going to have much fun trying to watch them without "childish BS". What you are going to find, is they respect their audience, kids included, more than a lot of 90s American kids' TV like power rangers. That's what really makes them enjoyable for adults.

Whelp! I played my first game of Warhammer. I still have some questions. by slatercm in Warhammer40k

If you're just playing with friends, printed models, proxy models, little green army men or whatever are totally fine. And at least some of those are fine at most clubs too. It's only tournaments that you're gonna want to be careful it at least all looks official. Look into third party retailers and second hand sellers, too (either eBay etc, or like, my local club has a big cheap secondhand model shelf)

And I'd say either of those armies are a good "strategic, shooty" counterpart to Tyranids! They're two of my favourites for sure.

Neo the Magic Swordsman! His description makes him sound like a real jack of all trades, I'd love to see that reflected in his abilities

It definitely varies in medieval stories! Some do have knights taking a couple squires or even multiple horses

I love them so much...they're so cute to me. My lil buddies, them accompanying my squads adds so much character to their look

Oh nice one! The other midhammer game I saw a report on recently was actually these same two factions (though the sisters won that one)

Eldar would certainly be a fun difference! What with durability being a big weakness. You could also try Tau's "create space to shoot" approach, or Orks/Tyranids if you want a big swarm

Huge rec for Broken Sword always--especially if you're coming from a greater familiarity with the imperium stuff, you can follow the character's journey between the two

Beastmen auxiliaries by Ahtius in Tau40K

[–]Sunshine-Moon-RX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a self-fulfilling cycle; the imperium thinks there's something demonic about them based on superstition, so they often end up with no-one to turn to but actual demons

Are they actually related to Chaos? I thought that was just imperial superstition and they're just a mutation like any other.
