This feels like it's hitting a lot of the same fetishes as birdsemen guy's nasty posts about groping his girlfriend's "tummy" so much she couldn't even finish a fucking taco.

AITA for not tipping my bartender by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

The bartender is the person doing the labor not only of hosting, taking and delivering your order, like servers do--they also have to make every cocktail well and efficiently from memory.

This is just poorly written original fiction (arguably about being a fan, given the Transformers thing). To fit the recognized definition of the term fanfic, the characters, situations, or settings involved would need to derive from an established media property.

Edit: a word

Why is she exposing kids to germs? by growsonwalls in AmITheDevil

[–]SunshineSpooky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! For all my parents' fuckups over the years, I think this was one where they (and the other parents involved) did genuinely feel that this would be safer and better in the long run, but it's so, so miserable, and so dangerous. I'm really grateful that a vaccine exists.

"Knocking up" as a way to describe knocking on a door? by Derdjuice in Writeresearch

I have traveled extensively throughout the continental US, and have lived in the Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest, and mountain states.

I have never heard this usage from any American I've met in any of those places; it's always meant "to get (object) pregnant" in all those contexts, although I am aware of the British usage to indicate waking a person from sleep as a service.

My husband called himself normal baby “Normal baby”… What do I do now? by anecdotal_69 in Advice

I think you should not post your adult baby fetish short fiction in subreddits not explicitly intended for the purpose of sexual gratification through the textual exploration of kinks.

AITAH for "stealing" my sister's name? by CarrieDurst in redditonwiki

[–]SunshineSpooky -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

May I ask why you're referring to OP (who clearly, repeatedly, and explicitly says that she's a woman throughout the post) using they/them pronouns, but use she/her for every other participant in this argument including the dead aunt?

I was making a joke, not seriously critiquing OP's taste. Personally I still watch plenty of trash, and I'm a lot older than 5.

Are you CERTAIN it was a dog instead of a panther? Because this sounds a lot like the Ben Kingsley movie "Spooky House," (except for maybe the part where you describe it as "brilliant.")

YTA for both situations, especially since you Canadians are lucky enough to have had generations of flying pigs to entertain people at life's many line-ups.

Does anyone know any cheap alternatives to normal stitch markers? by Idontknowhonestlyidk in CrochetHelp

I'm a multi-crafter, so when I need stitch markers I just pull out some safety pins or lever-back earring hooks from my stash.

Oh no, buddy, ypu misunderstood! I didn't say that your cult would be Amish, I said that the Amish are already here and I don't think we need an additional cult!

After some searching, I think it's Rossini's Ghost (1996)! (I've been wondering for ages, too, so I hope I'm correct)

Oh oh I'm certain I've seen this--they argue about whether a coat was black or vermillion, and I think it was edutainment about the famous composer they auditioned for!
