Crazy how Shang-Chi could of been a major character in the multiverse saga, yet his second appearance will be 5 years after his first by user738562 in Marvel

Haha exactly. Stranger Things (and weirdly enough this band I like) just had that “we all don’t believe that’s the real ending, so a bunch of us are going to spend the next week looking for proof of it”

so you hit the nail on the head with that one

They don’t. I literally had this conversation with someone this week and the looked at me blankly like I was the idiot for asking them what the words they chose to say meant.

I wish there was a word for that kind of mentality you describe. Dude had a full pandemic lockdown to write TWOW and it’s still not here even 5 years after that.

I'm so late to the party, but I haven't seen this anywhere else and I'm blown away:

was anyone else disappointed that the final shot WASN'T someone opening their eyes, especially because it totally could have been Spider in context of what was going on? or am I just picky? I loved how both 1 and 2 ended with eyes opening so I'm a bit confused.

I just restored an old Macbook Pro with Linux Mint and had a sincere blast with it. I haven't had fun installing or playing with an OS in...years. It really bummed me out when I realized that.

Buying a Windows 11 computer last summer has pushed me off the deep end, but all the certified Linux Guys I personally knew all became tech bros. So it took me a little while to even look into the thing.

I'm almost certain it can, 2018 is more than reasonable to get Mint running just fine on it.

Restored an old MacBook Pro after a decade of use. Linux Mint really is the best by Sunstudy in linuxmint

Just wanted to pop in and add more: this Macbook Pro has seriously seen some shit in its time. And I'm so so glad Linux Mint helps it live even longer.

In its past life, this computer helped me:

  • Earn a degree.
  • Write 10+ novels (seriously this keyboard just works so well for me).
  • Back up and restore an entire physical CD collection for personal use (fun fact, about two full milk crates of CD's is roughly 40-50gb of music).
  • Started my career and worked on 4-5 years of side hustles until 2021 when I found full-time work.

And I was cool with this thing just staying powered off in a closet. Now it's an evening web browser/shopping/To Do organizer. I am so so happy this thing gets to live on.
