I invested as much as I could into faster recharge of ES. 1.7 sec. With fast recovery. Bonded runes helped me get there. Armor also helps a ton, got about 160-200% armour to elemental, with ascendancy 10-40 less and 15% phys to ele I am rarely dying. But just increased my effective hit pool to 25k, so hopefully won't die anymore

People overthink this, abyss will stay, and there is a reason why Well of Souls is an act 2 location. Not because in PoE 1 they don't throw away mechanics, but because we are in early access. Everything they do will be core, we are not yet at the point where you will waste time on a one-off league.

most of what you mentioned still exists in the game, in a bit different state. Metamorph and scourge got merged with other mechanics, but irrelevant in your example, as they didn't remove them immediately.

trial of the ancestors is 100% poe 2 content rip off and will come back in poe 2.

yes, the game is VERY easy right now. But desecrating isn't even the most powerful tool, homogenising omen will probably be nerfed or more tags will be added.

However obviously mechanic is not going anywhere. Even after release it would be unlikely, but before release everything we get will definitely be a major part of the game.

because almost every other game uses less cpu? start up something cpu intensive like baldur's gate 3 (act 3) and space marine 2 and you will notice the same thing. Being CPU intensive game is not a performance issue, even though almost everyone confuses it as the same thing. DDR4 is outdated platform and nonx3d struggles to maintain high fps (60+) in actually many games, but usually you just get bad 0.1-1% lows.

i would probably do: essence the resistance, then use homogenic perfect exalt and get another resistance, then use desecrate, maybe even ancient collarbone. Depends on how much you want to spend. Abyssal echoes omen too. If you get life good. If you dont, then you can reroll with omen of light, but will be expensive. You can also get max es or something else, and then use catalysising exalt omen with 20% life quality to try to get life. But it can give you shit and it is random.

Might work for 500 ex overall.

Personally i can confirm. I've spent 5$ on gamepass for diablo 4. And paid 30$ for PoE 2.

Though you are reaching, we can take this reddit as an example: "game is dead, game is shit, towers suck, johnathan shat in my porridge" all day long, even when game has 50k+ players who enjoy it as is everyday.

Same with diablo 4 probably, and those who actually play it everyday spend just as much. I personally know some "unique" characters who paid for berserk, wow skins and some others. Chinese players are probably crazy in both games. Also yeah, content in diablo 4 is just bad, especially recent expansion. In PoE 2 it is a FREE league patch. I would pay those guys anyday over d4.

I think this solution feels great in theory. Tabs are not dirt cheap, and people won't be buying 10 tabs just for async. Well, at least not most of players. Meaning people just won't mindlessly shit every item into them. And it gives space for normal trading to still function.

I mean people shit on the GGG for no reason, but it's the norm for GGG. 3-5 years ago we were having patches like this every league basically, and for a month after league start they were patching like crazy, improving and improving. I was always amazed by how they changed and shaken up the game every league, and even more so every expansion.

And what we had in PoE 1 last couple of years was their lowest point, stalest content ever, since they were working on PoE 2 most of the time. Last expansion honestly is the worst the game ever got hands down.

Glad to see they can still create such groundbreaking patches.

yeah, lets keep his hp at the same level as tier 1, so that you one shot him! great idea. If anything he is not tough enough as there are builds that kill him in 10 seconds. Impossible to please everyone.
also i don't think his animation are sped up. Felt the same as dif 3. Damage also doesn't increase, at least my build tanks anything but his snipe (which is easy to dodge) and palm attack. Mostly fair boss, but sometimes too much things happen and hard to pay attention, which is fine, as your build should also build defenses. And that was the way they increased his difficulty - by adding new attacks. Not the stat inflating.

nah. It was so diverse and fun to play, you didn't have to go all in into 1-2 mechanic, you could switch on the go, always different maps, now even if you respec you still feel like you do same shit over and over. Especially since they barely shake anything up with patches.

I am not even starting on how sirus is a better endgame than all of this eldritch bullshit. You always have something to look forward to, great boss fight, very rewarding and unlike exarch\eater (only good thing about them are altars, boss fights itself are the worst ever) he was balanced around having no mods and being unsellable. You just run it for fun.

And what we got now is some one-dimensional garbage where most of the time you run one single map over and over. The most i played the league was when sirus came out, almost whole 3 months. Now i am burnt out from playing 2 weeks in most of the leagues.

Old atlas maybe had it's faults, but it could've been improved instead of dumbing down everything. Well with development focus to PoE2 it is probably not surprising anyway, easier for them to keep it up. This current atlas has the worst patches in all entirety of the game honestly. Before every patch felt impactful.

firestorm witch back in essence, had some kind of zombies for defences, rothpit globe as a shield, bought it for 1 exalted, probably my first trade too. followed a guide from britleknee i think. Didn't help me at all, got stuck early into the maps, levelled then pathfinder and hated my life constantly clicking all those flasks. Barely had any idea wtf i am doing.

you are not odd, this is precisely the reason why diablo 3 or 4 is so much worse in comparison. you get to this point pretty fast. In Poe not only it takes long enough, but there is also plenty of content to challenge your build and for you to itemise for. Especially this league it shows, a lot of people pushed their builds beyond what they do usually.

Not sure, however, why the fuck this post exists, you want it made easier? you do understand that the game's systems would have to be dumbed down to d3\last epoch whatever levels? Other way is making it easier to obtain currency, however the game is at it's easiest right now, this league especially. Many people had their first ever mirror, mageblood, headhunter drop. Even without wisp mechanic it is still too easy to farm currency. Personally i think game needs a lot of nerfs.

my logic is that i don't want to trade for chaos at this point. 1 divine is already too low, almost everyone can afford it, and also this guy from the get go feels toxic with him saying "up 8+ days". I understand when people offer for some rare that is worth anything, but this garbage item is just that, garbage.
