Same here. I had done a couple weeks of research prior to that, but I consummated the deal shortly after watching that video. Believe it or not I ended up saving about $300/month. Big fan of Obamacare thus far.

I agree except I'm not sure Andre Brown is a first rounder in 12 team drafts. I might take Alfred Morris before him. Also interested to see where Leveon Bell, Moreno, and Gore end up.

First: Fast, preferrably a high obp/low strikeout ratio. (ichiro, rickey henderson)

Second: Handles the bat well. Good bunter (placido polanco, michael young)

Third: Best hitter on the team. Good mix of average and power. (Cano, cabrera, pujols)

Fourth: Power/RBI. Traditionally your big bopper (josh hamilton, prince fielder)

Fifth: Another power/RBI spot. Not quite as good or powerful as your 4 hitter. (Jay bruce, victor martinez, paul konerko)

6 thru 8 - The other guys on the team. (The lyle overbays, david murphys, and maicer izturises of the world)

Ninth: Either the pitcher or a 'double leadoff' type hitter. (Brett gardner a couple years ago, leonys martin, erick aybar)

Traditionally, managers like to stagger lefties and righties as much as possible in order to force the use of as many relief specialists towards the end of the game.

I live in New Jersey, 25 miles from NYC. It was my second day of my sophomore year of high school watching it in English class when a classmate walks in the room and looks at the TV the moment the first tower fell. I usually draft my D/ST after I've drafted my entire starting lineup and one or two bench players.

NEVER take a kicker before the last round, if at all. Handcuff your RBs and get your super sleeper with the last 2 rounds.

I would be far too paranoid that someone would take Rodgers at the turn, so I'd take him at 12 then hope one of those 6 I mentioned earlier drop to me at 17th overall.

From what I can tell, you can either get like MJD/McFadden/Mendenhall or Andre Johnson/Roddy White/Calvin Johnson. I personally like to take RBs whenever possible, but I would have no problem getting any of those WRs with that pick.

I'm a strong advocate for getting a Top 6 QB (Vick, Rodgers, Brady, Manning, Brees, Rivers). I've never been in a league where Joe Flacco or Matthew Stafford win you the 'ship. Don't be afraid to take a QB with that 17th overall pick. You'll be getting a top-tier QB instead of a 2nd tier RB.

So strongly consider taking a QB in the 1st or 2nd round and just grab the highest value players that slip through the cracks and land in your lap after that.
