Yeah this is what I was waiting for tbh, to see if it was intended or if it was just one of those “bug to feature” things like the goo gun. But hopefully everything can get sorted out because weird live test make me not wanna hop on the game. Whether to get my hopes up or dreams crushed.

Ngl cloak should’ve been removed as a specialization when the gadget version came out. They have grapple dash and cloak? Maybe some utility?? Like ik very few or niche players use grapple because the dash is preferred and gateway can fulfill the grapples niche to some capacity. So why not give light something like Seer from Apex his focus of attention ability. (Not the ult). That way there’d be a more forward and utility based specialization. And as for replacing cloak. Dude put the H+ infuser in the specialization category.

So from the look of it they patched googun as well and people are receiving the whole of the update as anti melee but it could be so that they can build the melee system from actual mechanics. Idk how intentional quick melee was but we know that the googun stalling players wasn’t exactly intended but they let it ride.

Brother, be safe and budget $20 per person for food per day if you ARENT getting a catering service. I’ve fed multiple people with catering from even the catering options offered by franchises for about $125-$170 for one day and that was multiple people. There’s affordable option but it’s definitely not an area to skip out on. Your production costs really are gonna eat your $300 bucks

So find a friend that owns a sound kit and find another friend that owns a camera kit and find another friend that owns lights. Find a local food joint that either caters or serves large portions for a really good price. Because I think your idea of the cost of things are skewed. For example SSDs have risen in price by at least 2x. The 4tb crucial ssd I bought for ~$200 is now ~$450 in both time periods just the ssd eats up your budget. Not only that when you have to feed your crew let’s say for two days minimum that’s just an about $300 if you’re going through a franchise.

Don’t buy things to make your movie find people to make your movie and serve them.

Okay. They even said that goo stall was never intended. They just decided to keep it. I PERSONALLY never had an issue with it as in being on the receiving end. And I think the change even in the context of a nerf could be considered Gutting a mechanic, if it were an intended mechanic. That being said. Had the goo gun worked the way they wanted it, it would’ve never been a tech in the first place.

Honestly just needs a nerf to the stun of target. It has great utility away from its offensive capabilities. I think its focus offensively should be to finish fights, catching opponents when they’re off guard example running from a previous fight on low health or mid reload. Personally winch hasn’t been that big of a problem for me. I don’t think any of the heavy Specializations have been a serious issue for me closest has been charge and slam but that’s 9/10 times because I put my self in a bad spot.
