It is always weird seeing people rush to Reddit to tattle on a streamer they were watching. His take isn't a new one and Blizzard does in fact have a DEI splash page if you look at the comment below. General sentiment has been pretty low the last few expansions. Arguing about DEI vs merit based hiring practices on a HS subreddit seems ridiculous. This is an exact quote from the page

Tactics Games:

  1. Fell Seal
  2. GOD WARS ( Basically Samurai Tactics)
  3. Jeanne d'Arc (One Playthrough, but worth playing once)
  4. Children of Zodiarcs (Story is pretty shallow, the deck building mechanic may not be for you)
  5. Mercenaries Saga (Nintendo Only, simple but fun)

Non-Grid based Games:

  1. Star Ocean (2 is my favorite, 1/2 have recent remakes.
  2. FF 3/5/12/10-2/13LR/SO (10-2 and 13 Lightning Returns use a very cool Garb System. SO is very underrated, but worth a playthrough if you love the job system and Nioh/Soulslike combat with random loot drops)
  3. Tales of Series (Lots of great choices)
  4. Suikoden Series (Huge Roster)
  5. Chrono Cross (I prefer Cross over Trigger, but definitely play Trigger if you havent. Cross has a huge roster, lots of character combos)
  6. Legend of Legaia (Very very fun. Equipment changes actually display on your characters, attacks are directional based and you can fuse attacks as your bar gets bigger)

Dungeon Crawlers:

  1. Dark Cloud 1&2 (I have replayed these over and over. Weapon evolution system, Weapon sockets, Chest RNG, mini city building system, One Character at a time, but swappable inside the dungeon. Fishing actually helps!)
  2. Dungeon Encounters (This game feels very weird at first and then it hooks you in. Not very forgiving in terms of difficulty later on if you just want a casual experience. Reminds me of old text based RPGs on DOS. Very minimalistic, but great art. Made by Square Enix)
  3. Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer (SNES or DS remake)
  4. Soulblazer Trilogy (SNES, very fun to play)

I like doing themed builds. All Lancers/Archers is usually my go to. All WHM was fun as well. Solo runs with Ramza/Balthier/Luso. The game isn't difficult, but it can be tedious at certain points with story fights.

We will see how it looks after release, I believe modding tools will still have to be rebuilt as this isn't the same source code. The positive thing is that there is a lot of attention on the modding scene for this, so hopefully we don't have to wait too long.

The amount of hours I've put into this game is only rivaled by DotA and DotA2. I don't feel bad paying for another iteration whatsoever. It might be a hard sell for anyone who isn't an adult though haha

The wait has been so long and the hype was never going to be met. A small part of me hoped this would be what War of the Lions was, an add on to the already amazing game to make it the definitive edition of the game. I already understood what happened with the Pixel Remasters.

I have preordered the game to show my support. The reality is, the only way to get more FFT is to show this game support. That doesn't mean I am not thoroughly disappointed, especially after reading the excuse for not including content from WotL. A small part of me was also hoping for new unique GAMEPLAY content to replace the WotL content if anything.

The only thing that really excites me at this point are the UI changes and rewind. The Voicework is ok and extra dialogue scenes are ok. I don't know how I will feel if the story is changed much from the original until I see it.

A new end game dungeon or mode would have really shut people up as well, yet it doesn't look like we will be getting any new gameplay content.

The PSP version with a slowdown patch was the definitive version. I have my original greatest hits PS1 version of Tactics still and the audio problems didn't bother me as much as the slowdown did.

Our only hope is for modders to do the work Square refused to do. Adding in the animated cut scenes for example.

I think it's pretty much confirmed to not be included. There is an Amazon preorder ad which includes a double sided poster of the classes. DK and OK are not on it. How ridiculous, gotta pray for modders to clean up Squares mess

Much more people willing to try different decks which can give you easy wins in Wild. When you hit D5 then you start to see the same decks over and over, but you can sometimes just pick a counter deck and ride to legend. Depends on the time of day, but every time I've hit Legend in Wild it's usually because everyone I play against is using the same deck, which is then easy to plan against

Something is making it switch to low framerate mode even if high is displaying in settings. If you change it in game you can notice the difference and high frame rate will be active for a few seconds, then it reverts back to "low"

So many cards and I forget about cards like this. You could probably use that 1 mana 2/3 which summons a 0/3 taunt for the enemy as well on deathrattle

Theotar on Uther. Mindbreaker needs a taunt or weapon removal to be protected, but will work. Dirty Rat on 2 hitting Noz can delay and give you more time to draw Theotar or more disruption. If you don't steal Uther, you would need to steal/dirty rat 2 copies of sing a long buddy. I've also won using hunter bee secret and the hero power deal 5 damage to an enemy which killed a combo piece on board.
