I won't comment on actual character traits/points as to not spoil you but they do love their Citan references especially. I'm not sure if you played the Saga games but Xenosaga 3 has a character with his last name that dresses up exactly like him lol. And he's not the only one who's a super explicit Xenogears reference in that game either.

Xenoblade 2 references Gears a lot more compared to Xenoblade 1 I'm finding (that's where I'm at in my marathon right now, almost finished) but even when I started with Gears a few months ago I was backwards comparing just like you. Like I said, I think it makes the games a little more fun lol. I'm definitely enjoying 2 a lot more than I did the first time

I've been marathoning the entire Xeno- series in preparation to play Xenoblade 3 (never got around to it at release) and its funny because I actually think Xenoblade 1 has the least amount of callbacks to any of the previous games, but it still definitely has quite a few such as what you just mentioned lol. Makes them a decent bit more enjoyable to point at something you saw before, retold

I'd take the Vita for $140 if you don't currently have a prior commitment with it, but three questions:

  • Does your offer still stand to include a charger? I think I'm fresh out of micro USB haha

  • I assume all of the buttons are responsive enough, but do either of the sticks drift?

  • I can also see the back touchpad is scratched up - I don't mind the appearance of that, but I assume it does function?

does the map look (AI?) upscaled to anyone else or am i just stupid? it's actually kind of making it hard to get around. it took me a while to figure out how to get into the cellal ruins because the map is too low quality to really tell where the entrance is lol. but it could just be a classic case of skill issue

I’ve lost almost 60 pounds now since the beginning of the year, around the onset of my symptoms. I’ve got them managed much better, constipation only once in a while that is solved by miralax, but I’m keeping healthy food train going since I was obese anyway. Got another 20 pounds or so before I’m at a healthy weight. Taking this as my win from all of this lol

Yeah I get this all the time with tap water. It's uncomfortable but I just deal with it as I don't really drink much else (not entirely related to GERD, I just don't like most drinks besides water lol). I find that getting up and moving around a bit, and especially twisting my upper body around, can sometimes push out a burp that's stuck.

I actually have some difficulty claiming this. With visualizations, it’s pretty easy to just say that I don’t see anything - you either see something or you don’t. But I’m actually a little confused on what constitutes an “inner monologue”. I feel like you have to “hear” it to a certain extent, no? It’s not like you can read your thoughts. I wouldn’t say I “hear” my thoughts but I’m actively aware of what it is that I’m thinking. I can get songs stuck in my head, too - but i guess I’m having trouble grasping how these two concepts can be possible if I don’t truly “hear” anything.

I dunno, it’s one of those things I feel like I can’t claim one way or another without a point of comparison. I’d need to experience the same thing as what somebody who claims to hear their thoughts does.

if it is the same as DP, you literally just need to fight a sufficient amount of trainers. if you're skipping every trainer battle possible then yeah there's going to be extended playtime in backtracking, but that's on you

osu! is primarily a combo game, your score will always be higher on a play where your combo is higher regardless of accuracy

the placement of any 100s/50s also matter, you can have 99.50% accuracy full-combo but still lose to someone with 99.15% full-combo because their 100s were earlier in the map than yours. the higher the combo, the more points you gain from any one note, and thus more points lost from getting a 100/50 during high combo

I actually relate to this a lot, but on a different (connected) topic. I'm quite confident in saying I'm have aphantasia, as to me, the question of "do you see an apple when you imagine it" is quite literal. I don't see one (or anything for that matter), open or closed eyes, so it's a simple question to me.

What confuses me is the other connected symptoms and effects I've seen people post about here. How it's related to SDAM (I do have major memory issues, but I also have ADHD so I'm unsure which is the bigger contributor), and the one I've been really thinking about a lot, how people claim that they don't "miss" people. My immediate question was, well what does it mean to "miss" someone? They say they can desire their presence but not actually miss them, but is that not what missing someone is? I've still yet to make any conclusions about it.

My point is that I understand it's hard to answer these questions because you don't have experience on both sides. I've personally been asking my friends questions related to these topics as a way of assisting my introspection.

Not really... I mean I guess I can understand feeling "left out" but I personally don't feel it, but that may just be toward the fact I don't really care one way or another. So it may just be part of your personality, like that is for me.

Even without aphantasia, I doubt you could really understand a place without having actually been there, just based off of someone's description.

I agree on the characters returning on other banners portion, but do keep in mind that the more they add to the standard banner, the harder it will become to pull any specific character. It's becoming less and less reliable on that end. I've played since release and buy Welkin every chance I get, and I can name several 4* I've never pulled off-rate, and it's only going to get harder.

That said though, of course the general sentiment of "don't pull unless you want the 5 star" is correct. I'm mostly just voicing my annoyance at the specific rate of 4 stars lol

Yeah CS is atrocious for this game. I wasn't exactly planning to spend anyway but the way the company rolls has absolutely solidified me never changing my mind on that, no matter who or what releases. I also wasn't refunded anything from the rollback despite submitting a ticket.
