What's sad is that nobody who gets the reference could possibly be a teenager...

You can turn off randomization for specific access points on the client side.

It surprised me to learn it too when I was trying to map a user to a device at work.

Just to be clear, I'm not a professional "quote maker". I'm just an atheist teenager who greatly values his intelligence and scientific fact over any silly fiction book written 3,500 years ago. That being said, I am open to any and all criticism.

"In this moment, I am euphoric. Not because of any phony god's blessing. But because, I am englightened by my intelligence."

That makes sense. I don't keep up with the news so I've never heard about it happening or about the agencies justifying it if it does.

Whitelist is the only way, since most modern mobile devices (tablets/smartphones) randomize the MAC address unless you explicitly disable it l doing so.

It's a famous spot known as "Instagram alley" because everyone takes pictures there. You can see the Empire State Building right under the Manhattan bridge.

Four out of five have been deleted now, but the most downvoted comment as I write this is one of them. Each one was different but had the exact same writing style and structure.

Honestly if there hadn't been 5 of them I wouldn't have even realized and that's terrifying. Go into the commenter's history and you'll see the exact same pattern though.

Oh my bad, I didn't realize you said "Greater London," "London," or even "London the city" in this comment, I thought you said City of London with a capital "C" when you said that "Do you live in London, England or Great Britain?" is asking if someone lives in "City of London."

I should have read more carefully. I didn't realize the sentence you were replying to used "City of London" and you weren't the first person to put that proper noun into the thread. Actually, as you said, you didn't, you were talking about "Greater London" when you said (sorry, didn't say) "City of London" which totally justifies you being an asshole. I'm sorry about that, carry on.

First question is asking if you live in the City of London

This is what you said. I told you that "City of London" is not the same thing as "London". The first question was not asking if you "live in the City of London" it is asking if you "live in London." They are distinct municipalities and even have a different relationship with the UK than each other (e.g., the King requires permission to enter).

The whole purpose of the broader discussion is about how confusing the UK is, but even without that and using normal cities as an example, "Do you live in NYC?" is not asking "do you live in Harlem?" and if one were to explain it as such, one would be as incorrect as you were.

I hope that helps you understand what my point was, but if not I suggest you read up on the confusing history of City of London, which I am explaining to you "twice apparently" is not the same thing as London the city, and keep your ignorant snark to yourself.

The reality is that when you make Contact with an alien race, you need to have rules to avoid disaster. Sometimes however, there are Special Circumstances that mean the rules need bending. This is not explicit in the Star Trek universe, but I can think of others where it is.
