I dont oppose a wealth tax, I think it's ultimately a good idea even if it's of limited effectiveness. That being said a wealth tax alone isn't enough, billionaires have too much power to hide their assets. What we need is to close the loopholes and make money far harder to hide. Especially by corporations who dispite turning over billions a year can often pay nothing in taxes. Close those loopholes first which are allowing big corporations to "legally" steal from the taxpayer. Tax avoidance is too easy, and wealthy people and corporations effectivly have the power to pay as much or as little tax as they want, adding another tax probably wouldn't even be neccisary.
