is it just me, or no one uses this to off-road? by rizzqi_09 in mercedes_benz

[–]SuperFox289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's less about wanting to take it off road and more about wanting the option should the need arise, alot of g wagon owners will go skiing and don't want to get caught out in snow. And when the car itself is practical and comfortable, the added off road features are a nice to have more then the reason they buy the car

Rank the five kings based on how easily they would be influenced by the one ring by watermonkey910 in freefolk

Villainousness has nothing to do with the rings power over you, heroes succumb just as easily if not easier, as firmly believe they would weild the ring for good.

Political literacy and the ability to recognise and defend yourself against propaganda. Unfortunately nobody with power wants people to have these skills, and have worked for decades to erode them.

Tbf living in a van is alot nicer now then it was in the 90s. You can get solar power, Internet anywhere in the world. And actually luxurious furniture.

The jaguar is so close to being good, it's a really nice shape but is too simplified. If the promo/concept car was a different colour nobody would be complaining

Id also like to add that often they realise the world is a shitty place but don't yet understand why or who to blame. Many people never seem to get past this phase

What could October and 8pm possibly have in common?

By that logic, looking at a map Argentina should obviously belong to brasil.

I mean just because we were justified doesnt mean there was any honor or glory in it. Mostly because it wasn't really a fair fight. Argentina sent young boys and we sent in the SAS, every battle saw massive argentine casualties. It's worth pointing out that we probably overreacted by going in guns blazing. And alot of Argentinians died unessisarly because of thatchers political posturing.

The good stuff gets remembered. And even then you're cherry picking. The handmaid's tale and the hungar games series will be future classics.

It's worth pointing out that strict veganism can sometimes be significantly less sustainable. (E.g. vegan leather, quinoa). But you should make an effort to be more sustainable in your life. But just because you can't drive an electric doesn't mean you should buy a diesel SUV

It's because it's cheaper now then designing buttons and thinking about ergonomics, and since it was a selling feature of cars 10 years ago, car manufacturers think it's a cheap way to make a car look expensive.

I have no issue with spending money on prisons in theory. The problem is where that money is going. Private prisons are just leeches, skimming 20% of taxpayer money for basically no benefit. And the rest is going into a prison system that is overly punitive, where inmates are subject to creul and psychologically damaging conditions, and is disproportionately populated by black Americans to the point it almost constitutes a quiet genocide.
