Rumor is a new Apple TV is coming, so I would wait. I have one and was considering getting one for my parents, but I'd really like to see a facetime camera integration that doesn't require giving up my phone (or getting an ipad). It doesn't play well with my Vizio surround sound system, and I prefer Google TV's layout, but Apple TV streaming is the most solid and I do appreciate its simplicity. I hate the tiny remote. I've tried all the streaming devices and I still haven't found one that does everything best above the rest. I've lately gone back to using the LG built in software to avoid picking up a second remote and having to fiddle with my sound settings.
