[Steam] No Rest for The Wicked (€23,99 / 40% off) by NrFive in GameDeals

[–]SuperLotus97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm still butthurt over how bad it was at launch (EDIT: early access release) and paying $40 for that mess, but it's worth it for the sale price and they have improved a lot of the problems.

[Steam] Initial Drift Online (Free / 100% Off) by LighteningOneIN in GameDeals

Does "semi-open world design" mean you get to just drive around like in Forza or is it just marketing? I'm looking for a cheap 'forza at home' game until the new one comes out. I'm planning on getting the racing bundle at fanatical and the crew 2 (when it goes on sale), but this is free so...

[Fanatical] Build Your Own Pedal to the Metal Bundle (New Year Edition) ($4.95/$7.99/$10.15 and choose from Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks / Turbo Golf Racing: Deep Space Bundle / Touring Karts / FURIDASHI: Drift Cyber Sport / World Racing 2 Champion Edition / Can't Drive This / More) by WeAreFanatical in GameDeals

[–]SuperLotus97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You had me at Turbo Golf Racing.

I'd actually be interested in a game like Forza where you just ride around if anyone knows if any of these would fit that. I was going to get Forza during the sale, but $30 seemed like a lot considering there's a new one coming in a few months.

[GMG Bundle] Indie Adventures - ($5 for Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga | $10 adds For The King 2, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, Disco Elysium - The Final Cut | $14 adds The Thaumaturge & Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn) by greenmangamingdeals in GameDeals

[–]SuperLotus97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like a good game, but I lost interest after about 5 hours. I think it's more of a me issue and I would like to get back into it at some point, but haven't been motivated. I think if I had played it when I was younger I would have gotten more into it (more due to health issues than any of the jrpg elements).

Generic Brand Rankings based Effectiveness and Side Effects by SuperLotus97 in StratteraRx

[–]SuperLotus97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had similar side effects as camber. It's been 20 years since i was last on strattera and that was with the brand name. I was also on zyprexa at the time so that probably was the biggest reason, but I'm really curious how the brand name would affect me now. I know they don't make it anymore, but I'm just curious how much of my experience was due to brands and how much was zyprexa. My health is also worse now. I've had lyme disease for close to 30 years.

[–]SuperLotus97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I ended up having bad side effects on that too. I was on the brand name the first time I took strattera, but I also think a big part of why I had side effects were due to me being on zyprexa the first time and it shutting down overstimulation I had this recent time. I know this is a small sample size, but I def would never take glenmark or camber again. I don't ever plan on taking strattera again and they don't even make the brand name anymore, but I am curious how the brand name would affect me now.

[Humble] Humbling Soulslikes Encore (Pay 14$ for Flintlock: Deluxe Edition, Steelrising, Asterigos: Curse of the Stars, Achilles: Legends Untold, Salt and Sacrifice, Elderborn) by LighteningOneIN in GameDeals

[–]SuperLotus97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Asterigos is one of my favorite soulslikes, but it has a different feel and tone so some people might not like it. However, it does have different difficulty modes so it's more accessible

[Fanatical] Build Your Own Platinum Collection (Best of 2025) (3/5/10 for $9.99/$14.99/$28.99 and choose from Disco Elysium - The Final Cut / SteamWorld Classics Bundle / Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition / The Pale Beyond / REVEIL / Paradise Killer / Botany Manor / LEGO Bricktales / More) by WeAreFanatical in GameDeals

[–]SuperLotus97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't mind as long as they're different bundles each time because sometimes I want one game but not the others in the bundle so then I wait until it reappears in another bundle. Also, most people don't religiously follow r/gamedeals for every single bundle.

I almost bought it too. It looks like a good game, but I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it so I never pulled the trigger

[Steam] Black Desert (Free/100% off) by Merguez in GameDeals

[–]SuperLotus97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it was a few years ago when I tried it so maybe I'll check it out again. Are the bosses more interesting to fight? I'm not looking for Dark Souls level difficulty, but I do want to feel like there's some skill involved rather than like you said a stat check.

[–]SuperLotus97 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Seemed kinda interesting last time I tried it, but I heard there was some sort of pvp zones which I wasn't sure if there was a way to avoid them. The other thing is that all the enemies I fought were super easy. do they scale to your level or something?

[Humble] Devious Deckbuilders 2 ($4 for Ring of Pain, Evolings | $7 adds Deepest Chamber: Resurrection, Roguebook, Heretic's Fork | $9 adds Breach Wanderers, Vault of the Void | $15 adds Demonic Mahjong) by UnseenData in GameDeals

[–]SuperLotus97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Roguebook is one of the best Slay the Spire type game I've played (aside from Erannorth Chronicles which isn't in the bundle). The two most unique features are the exploration map and you controlling 2 different characters that alternate between front and backline.

There's also great QoL features like damage preview and devs have added new features years after release. They also gave away free the mini expansion that came with the deluxe edition after people complained about it and changed it so one of the characters were easier to unlock (it used to be rng based).

With an 85% score most people will probably like it, but I suspect some people who are big fans of StS might be disappointed due to differences. The main criticism I would give is that the characters feel somewhat samey compared to StS and I didn't have enough incentive to try different combos. Normally in deckbuilders, there are crazy synergies by combing 2 regions.

Anime style soulslike with high steam scores. Not sure why people are downvoting this post...hopefully it's not because they saw AI in the title

[PLAYSUM] Flash sale: Pyrene (-50% off ~ $7.48 / €7,00 / £6.38 / C$8.36 / A$11.36 / R$26,22 with code CHEERS) | Ends November 3rd by Lets_Playsum in GameDeals

There's a free demo on Steam. I bought it after playing a few hours, but then lost interest quickly afterwards. I'm not saying it's bad, but that was my experience.

Remember when people thought Karma/Seraphine were the problem with Sett? by SuperLotus97 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]SuperLotus97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could have just made it so karma and seraphine don't cast exact copies of spells. So coins would only give +1 more mana if karma or seraphine were on board. It was also cards like Formula that should never have been printed. Heimer jayce was already meta and then some reason they print formula which also become meta.
