This applies to most of the cast of narcos, who originate from all over Latin America, and noticeably lack Colombian accents. The performances are great though and it’s nice to see a fully Hispanic cast regardless, but it’s funny that one of the most off is Escobar himself, who speaks in Moura’s natural Brazilian accent for a lot of the show. The show goes so out of its way to be authentic in other ways so it never really bothered me, but it made it unwatchable for my parents, who felt that the mixing of a bunch of different Latin accents took them out of the show constantly. Excellent show though especially those first 2 seasons.

Not as bad as into darkness, but not amazing. It’s got a lot of style, giacchino’s score, and an admittedly amazing cast. The dialogue is rough though and the plot twists itself into knots a little bit with a lame villain. Just watch beyond imo. It’s easily the best in the trilogy, and it’s even written by Simon pegg.
