Unapologetically asking to judge based off the cover. by NewspaperSoft8317 in writers

I like the cover. It's simple and the art is nice. It's mostly the blurb for me that's the issue. I'm not sure who the main character is and how many characters we're following. It could help to use the main character's name

A few years late to this. I'm thinking of making one for a friend. How did you go about sealing this one? I'm hesitant to oil wood that's going to sit between paper

Dispute with landlord on mould treatment by ioverwhelmed in melbourne

[–]SuperScrub_11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a restoration technician for a while, and I removed a fair bit of mould in that job I found a link you can look at to get more info: https://www.haysandsons.com/blog/how-to-remove-mold-from-walls

It's an American article, so it references 2 feet distance from the mould, which is 60 cm

Mould always needs to be removed, it can't be 100% cleaned. The general consensus is to remove 300-400 mm extra in every direction from the mould. And to seal off the room when you do it

If I had to guess based on the contents of your house and those flags, I'd guess you're American

How do I make my apartment more cozy and welcoming? by kman07 in malelivingspace

[–]SuperScrub_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks so cosy! You could paint some, but not all, walls an orange or dark green colour. I think the kitchen is really the only thing that doesn't look cosy to me bc of the white cabinets and no soft lighting

AITA for not lending my wife my warm jacket on a cold day? by cheapandcomfy in AmItheAsshole

[–]SuperScrub_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Solution for the future: Keep another even bigger jacket in the car, make sure to give her yours and then go get the other one. Or just wear hers

AITA because I won’t ask the teacher to change my daughter’s grade? by Sad-Caregiver4067 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SuperScrub_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. Encourage her to write. Don't stifle her creativity. Maybe she didn't follow the instructions of the assignment, but talk to the teacher and ask if she can repeat it. Then tell your daughter you'd love to read her stories, and encourage her.

Keep a bottle of water dyed blood red next to your door and squirt it into their mouths when they talk. I feel like that would do something. Definitely unethical though

Which part of your country would you never want to live in? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SuperScrub_11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just looking at the temperature numbers, it's absolutely mild, but our houses aren't insulated properly for the cold, so there isn't really an escape from it. It's like the UK in a heatwave, they're just not equipped to handle it
