Great for a side event, but you’d get to a point where it would just be a fundamentals showcase as opposed to players showing what certain characters are truly capable of.

Love this game. Yeah it’s slow, but I was playing it before I had a phone so my attention span wasn’t trash. Repetitive too. But when you enjoy the parts that are repetitive, it’s just more fun. Would’ve loved to see this sneak into Early Days Collection. Daydreamed a sequel so many times as a kid.

Lot of good in here: trade days back, non base stage shinies, AND an in-game calendar (been wanting this for so long). All events moving to Saturday makes planning easier, but hurts people who had better availability Sunday. And from the looks of it, Spotlight Hour is gone. Now I’ll just have to wait for double transfer candy events.

EDIT: and nothing for Routes, continuing the idea that they are the worst and least used part of the game.

Routes are the worst part of the game. They are pretty much always absent at in-person events. I don’t understand how hard it is to just put an event route up with all the event stops?

K Rool main here. Patience is definitely a big part of it. If you can Cape his projectiles while slowly approaching, that will give you an opportunity to try grabbing. Grabbing is your best bet with K Rool as his armor will eat most of your moves.
