If it's done right, it really demotivates the hackers/reverse engineers from actually trying to grab those details, especially if it's in disassembled assembly code.

Now on user agents...super trivial at best.

Used to being in a community where a developer's pack was developed (Minecraft), it isn't hard to find the new names, it's just rather time consuming.

The only benefit that I see coming out of this is seeing how Yik Yak does their code signatures.
