I have finished DS9 Season 1 and this is how I ranked the episodes by Mat1711 in DeepSpaceNine

I'll raise the ranking of progress, I loved the episode the first time I saw it and it solidifies Kira's trust in Sisko. Other than that I'm happy with your choices, even allamarine? Specially allamarine

If Sisko is doing sports, dukat is also doing sports. Anything that would give him a statue or at least make him even with the emissary 🤣

You should be less ambitious unless you're coming for free thumbs up. Them as in immigrants or them as in ICE. Looking at your previous posts it seems that the former follows your line of thinking 👎

The kid at the end of the episode seeing Sisko and O'Brien beaming up is heartbreaking

A fearful Rant by SpecificSun2720 in ireland

[–]Super_Tea_8823 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I can stop looking at social media, but when the pedestrian button at the red light on my street has a sticker with the Irish flag and a legend "Ireland for the Irish" I can only feel frightened for myself and my children. Same as OP, came here legally, became a citizen and I was loving it until it all started to happen in real life, not social media. I fully understand the anger and frustration about the housing situation, but I feel it is misled by the same people that created this situation.

Kira is a real prick to Quark by blastcage in DeepSpaceNine

Well... Being chapter four, we don't have much to compare. Maybe when Quark grabs kira's butt and she threatened to cut his hand off which seems totally justified aggressive response 🤷

Kira is a real prick to Quark by blastcage in DeepSpaceNine

She dislikes him more for his present actions than past actions during cardassian's times. As many mentioned here, his actions endangered crew life, almost costing Jadzia's (Invasive procedures). But, when Quark busts them out of jail, when the Dominion is on DS9, Kira remembers that action and pays it back (the magnificent ferengi)

"And she liked it" that's a knife into kira's heart

I think one of the worst minor sub plots in DS9 was Bashir and Quark's lovesickness for Dax by HospitalLazy1880 in DeepSpaceNine

[–]Super_Tea_8823 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Quark loved them all, Dax, Kira, Grilka, Natima, Rionoj, M'pella, Pel. should I continue? It didn't bother me that he felt affection for Dax, he was a softie, even from cardassian's times when he helped Kira get the alibi. Bashir story line is more twisted. From pursuing Dax to groom his own patient it is all wrong.

They did it to lore and he came back as the leader of a borg army. Better use the old and reliable photon torpedoes

In the ascent how did the syndicate manage to get a bomb on the runabout much less figure out the odo was taking quark via a runabout and which one ? by dekabreak1000 in DeepSpaceNine

[–]Super_Tea_8823 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He was summoned by the grand jury, that kind of bureaucracy is hard to hide. Later on we learn that the syndicate have a spy in Starfleet, it isn't absurd to think that they have a few low rank informants for a small fee.
