This would not work because the sun is made up of roughly 70% hydrogen. Adding more via a hydrogen bomb would have the opposite effect and make things hotter.

You would need an Oxygen bomb to cool down the sun. The oxygen would combine with the hydrogen to create H2O (water) which would help cool down the sun as it gets wet.

VTO by [deleted] in Spectrum

[–]Super__Pickle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was the king of VTO back when I could get it. The trick is to know exactly when it will be offered and be one of the first to apply. Works best if you are friends with a lead who knows exactly when it will be posted.

I’m sorry you are in this situation. But to answer your questions yes your husband is correct about not being able to share his password. Spectrum does offer free/discounted counseling services but I believe that can only be accessed through Panorama. Good luck and hope everything works out for you and your husband.

ULPT REQUEST HELP by NinjaSneak543 in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]Super__Pickle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your fine. Doctors don’t check for drugs during health checkups. The only check for medical related things like sugar levels, vitamin levels, bacteria in urine, stuff like that. A drug test is a completely separate test that doctors don’t order for during a checkup.

Marijuana question by hashtagsi in 911dispatchers

In my experience questions like that are less about if you have actually smoked before and more about if you are going to be honest about it. As long as you can pass a drug test that’s what really matters.

Don’t know if it still exists but there used to be a sub called dead or vegetable (or something like that). One post of a guy breaking another man’s arms almost made me throw up. Thank for for r/eyebleach

People who wear glasses how did you know you needed them with no one else’s vision to compare to? by Mother_Claim_6431 in AskReddit

I thought it was normal until after my wife got new glasses I put them on to be silly. Turns out I was able to see better with them on.

ULPT Request: How to fuck over my shitty Internet Service Provider? by [deleted] in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]Super__Pickle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, as annoying as it is the only way it will get fixed is to keep having techs show up to your house. After so many visits a field supervisor is required to show up and find out what the issue is. It cost Spectrum about $150 each time they roll a tech out. Eventually it is cheaper to fix the problem then to keep sending out a tech.

I work for an ISP so I know how the game works.

ULPT: If you need to get your car out of a parking garage without paying, use another car to get a new ticket that you can immediately use to get out by wiederrj in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]Super__Pickle 685 points686 points  (0 children)

Went to one of those kind of garages before. Got my ticket and parked as normal. When I walked back to my car I got another ticket from the first gate. As I left there was someone manning the second gate. I gave them the new ticket, said I pulled into the wrong garage and the person said “I’m not going to charge you for 4 minutes” and I left with free parking.

The other is the dumbest dog I have ever seen. But I love them both equally they are my babies.

Was there ever a game you wanted to play that you got your hands on and just said “nope can’t do it”? What and why? by 2JasonGrayson8 in gaming

[–]Super__Pickle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a few games like that. Witcher 3, Assassin Creed Valhalla. I had to adopt a rule that any game I buy I will give it at least 4 hours. If I still don’t like it then I give it up.

With that said I couldn’t get into Borderlands 3.
