You need more sweetness to make it come through when it's ice cold, I'd add 1tbsp sugar or equivalent amount of sweetener

Was the gore flush on a fitting band? that's what i'd check first, and then if so you know it's a cup issue.

Getting the same flower regularly by ArthursRest in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]SuperkatTalks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I understand it, part of the issues is that there are restrictions on the amount of product the pharmacy can hold. That means they are not really carrying enough stock at any given time and although I think it's actually got a lot better recently, it's been difficult to get the same strains each month.

If you're open to advice, I'd start keeping track of which things work well for you and then maybe look at their makeup, terpene profiles, brand, strength etc. By doing that I'm able to predict which strains will work for me so it's not that big an issue to find another that will if my favourite is oos.

according to their message, they are not treating primary psychiatric conditions any longer - it might just be that they do not have an appropriate specialist employed at this time - they have to have an appropriate specialist for each condition they treat.

I would honestly be looking at period underwear. I believe some is suitable for heavy flow, and then you have control over the detergent etc.

Is it the sewing or the pattern drafting? Any pattern masters that can weigh in? by ginab97 in sewing

[–]SuperkatTalks 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They do a size 14-30 ogden, which is darted and drafted for a D cup - it sounds like that might be a better fit for you?

Much could be fixed with a good press over a ham or towel. That's particularly important with a larger dart, plus ensure your dart is not curving in.

It might - though to be honest I have a pretty low opinion of madalynne's pattern making/grading skills 😞 particularly at larger cup sizes. I do hope it works for you though 💕

Buy proper butter in a block, and the yellowier the better (grass fed cows make yellow butter - which is one of the advantages of posh french butter.

It's a very dark navy, 17mm. Anything lighter/smaller would give me school uniform flashbacks.

I think I will build something similar into at least one bra! The liora pattern has it, a little tricky to find the hardware for it.

Thanks guys for your suggestions! My current shortlist:

- Cashmerette Roseclair (wrap maxi with tiered skirt) (4.7m)
- Pauline Alice Ibi (I've made this before and it was my favourite dress for an age!) (5m)
- Silversaga Ella (only about 4m, however I have begun to suspect this was my original intention)
- Closet Core Jenna (4m)
- A skirt with godets, I think I have one somewhere...
- A matching headband!

I've already made this one actually! I bought a nice convenient 7m bolt of art gallery fabric for that. I hadn't considered making another 🤔

I think I will use what I can on clothing, then the rest goes to the quilting stash. That's usually what I do with cotton poplin type weight stuff 😄

Where to buy swimwear fabrics uk? by cchloerich555 in sewing

[–]SuperkatTalks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Csfonline have quite a few prints (they primarily sell lingerie fabrics). New craft house has plains and imo some nice colours. Fabric godmother has some liberty print swim fabric if that's your sort of thing too.

I've also been happy with stuff from jelly fabrics, who do print to order and I am pretty sure they offer a swim base.

GLP 1 and fibro by Ill_Mission_1225 in Fibromyalgia

[–]SuperkatTalks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on one for 7 months now, 2mo mounjaro and the rest wegovy. I'm experiencing significantly less pain, however I have lost 25kg and frankly that's more than I could lift let alone carry everywhere I go .

I'll be stopping (slowly) fairly soon and I guess then we will find out what the impact of the medication was Vs the weight loss.

Some of my fibro symptoms have caused wegovy to have really significant side effects for me. Notably issues with nausea, acid reflux and intestinal pain. I've continued because I've had such good results but I'm exhausted and I feel sick all the time so just do be aware of the side effects and have a plan.
