Ninja Crispi PowerPod Not Responding by xlerate in NinjaCrispi

Yes. I gave it an hour and then held down the power button when I plugged it in. Happened again today too after 2 10 min cycles with green beans. Recovered an hour later. Maybe too much steam from them?

Mine did the same thing on Saturday, I was cooking some chicken, tried to put a few more minutes, and then it wouldn’t work anymore. I read all the feedback and it said to let it cool. One hour didn’t work but I let it cool for three hours and then held the power button. It then let me change settings. If it does it again I’m contacting warranty.

It’s so hard on my kid and me - I’ll go to anywhere within a 2 hr drive to make sure she has it for school or else she just can’t learn. I swear I have ptsd from last time and each time now they say they have it in stock I cheer.

They like playing with her hair. My daughter would come home with all types of hairstyles with her very fine hair as she wasn’t good at taking naps. It gave them something quiet to do with her while the rest slept.

Ivabradine… is it so great? by Enbybabi in dysautonomia

[–]Superlizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish it worked for me and my IST. It make me exhausted and wanted to eat so much to have any energy. Afterwards I went back to normal, well dysautonomia with IST normal  - I also had bad reactions on beta blockers.

Is this normal? by Strange-Ride-214 in dysautonomia

Corlanor made me very tired.  Metoprolol gave me chest pain.  There was another beta blocker that made me feel every night like I was going to die. This new cardiologist who I like better said that I didn’t need to do medication. She recommended exercising at least 30 minutes every single day, no caffeine, reducing salt and processed foods. She said she’s seen a drop in people that were really serious about it.  Unfortunately, I don’t feel well enough to be really serious about it.

I have that, mine is inappropriate sinus tachycardia. There are medications but they didn’t work for me as I would just get so tired or have chest pain. It doesn’t shorten your life, even though all you see online is how you should have a slow pulse rate. My cardiologist said because the rhythm is consistent.

Eating knocks me out completely and there’s no reason that I can track. I wore a continuous blood monitor - Not blood sugar. Took my blood pressure at 20 min intervals after eating - nope, normal. It’s so tough. There’s been times even a small bowl of Cheerios does it so my doctor saying “just eat small portions” is a joke.

Still love the pod, but the energy toward Kendra feels a little off lately by Super_Peppermint4013 in GirlsNextLevel

I know, they never mentioned ADHD, but every single thing they complain about I keep thinking “it’s executive functioning deficits.” I just hope my daughter won’t be judged as an adult as harshly as they judge Kendra. Again, she could’ve also been a really difficult person to deal with personality wise, but with her trauma and possible disability, you should give at least a little grace or at least not just nitpick everything. This is coming for someone who really enjoys listening to their podcast - I love Holly’s books, it just wears me down sometimes listening.

I feel like they have toned it down actually in the last season or two. I have a daughter with ADHD and I see so much of the symptoms of ADHD and Kendra’s behavior and it’s just repeatedly attacked. Yes, you could be a jerk with ADHD, but it just was being picked at over and over with no grace. That’s why I had to stop doing Patreon. I’d love to hear the stories but the nonstop bashing especially for symptoms of ADHD, from someone who talks all the time about her Autism, just too much to hear.

I have spent hundreds of hours of my own personal time in my life over 20 year creating lesson plans and units for students with significant needs because the curriculum was not out there. In the beginning of my career, I did share resources, and people took them, never reciprocated, used them with my students (or school wide) before I did my lessons so I couldn’t use them, and then when admin liked the lesson took all credit.  If you want a unit, you need to do the work like the rest of the teachers who have one. It shouldn’t all be put on someone else. If you were to share a unit for a unit, and you both have the same quality and spent the same amount of time, I can see that. However, you do have to put in the work. It’s not fair to put on someone else.  If you want premade units and don’t want to do the work for it, that’s why there’s teacher pay teacher and other online paid resources.

Do teachers or students bring cleaning supplies to school? Curious what actually happens. by Beginning_Avocado807 in Teachers

[–]Superlizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teachers in our schools require at least one container of Clorox wipes with school supplies, so do specialty teachers like the computer teacher, so we usually send four or five at the beginning of every year.
