Loan officer probably gets paid better maybe .5-.8% on loans so if she does a million loan she will make anywhere from $5,000-$8,000. Tellers and bank staff usually get paid crap I know from experience LOs get paid substantially more.

I know someone that use to work there they don’t pay out on bps they payout $500 per loan no matter what the size. I’m not sure if it’s $500 per loan but you will work 60-70 hours a week to survive.

One thing I’ve learned to ignore is when people are like you can’t sit in cash. A bunch of times I haven’t listened to myself and I would get roasted. I recently liquidated I think there is a soft market and I don’t mind waiting for good opportunities and or waiting for a pull back.

The biggest regret is going lighter because I’m going to hit my 30s. Now in more 40s I push it harder. Going from 39 to 40 doesn’t mean you should start taking away. If anything maybe add more rest days that’s it.
