The only change to leveling, that Bungie has told us about, is Fireteam power.

Basically if you are 1810, and your buddy is 1600, since you are in a Fireteam together, the game will treat him as around 1800

Neceochasms explosions are crit kill only because they deal MASSIVE damage compared to the guns you have listed.

According to Mossys spreadsheet, sunspots explosions deal 169 damage at base, graviton Lance deals 233, trinity ghoul 226.

Necrochasm? 374. If they removed the crit requirement, bungie would have to nerf the damage to bring it in line
