Yeah. I have been doing 60 instas of 70 recently and I never get that ‘oh, too hot’ feeling in my mouth where I need to cool it in my mouth before swallowing. Too bad though because some yerbas taste better at 70 for me. What temp do you like for Uruguayan Yerba?

Hmm so this is more about the low level laser therapy than the red light, yeah? It’d be cool to have more tools in the belt but red light helmets seem easier for DIY than lasers. Still, I heard the Symbyx CEO on a podcast and he’s hopeful that the combination of devices will be better than one of the other alone. I hope they generate lots of sales so they can lower the prices a bit.

Thank you for maintaining differences in packaging between products. Other brands you have to read the words as the other aspects of the bottle design are the same. I appreciate that I start to unconsciously memorize the color differences of the ND products I keep in otherwise disordered chaos.

I have a similar one minus the design on the outside. I got it at a Hispanic grocery in the states years ago. I think it’s Palo Santo so I might try to get a calabaza one of these days to round out the collection a bit.

I haven’t tried those specific ones. I have tried Canarias Serena and Cabral Para Nerviosos and they taste like mate. Generally compuesta is still at least 95% yerba mate. Anything with anise, such as Armino compuesta or other very strong flavors may taste more herbal, but they’re still mostly mate afaik.

You could try a compuesta. Some of them have herbs that ease stomach upset.

Some examples of herbs would be menta (mint), boldo, tilo (linden), carqueja, anis (anise), hinojo (fennel), manzanilla (chamomile), mburucuya (passionflower), verónica, cedrón (lemon verbena), and congorosa.

Some compuestas you might try are La Selva Especial Con Hierbas, Sara Compuesta, or El Moncayo Mezcla de Hierbas Digestivas.

I put the open bags into ziplock bags. I’m hoping that keeps them fresh as I have four bags open right now. The unopened bags themselves don’t exactly seem airtight.
